Larsa wasn't much of an explorer by  himself, but that was the nice thing about having a companion from home with him here: his guardian was more than willing to follow him. So, the young emperor had made it quite clear that he was going to look at this new floor. It wasn't quite what he'd expected. While the others had seemed fairly small and easy to pass through, this one looked very large, more so than he'd expected.

Glancing around to get his bearings in this forest, he made sure Gabranth was nearby before taking a few steps forward. "Shall we continue?"

Larsa wouldn't have minded at all if Neirenn had asked him about his past. At least, the royalty part of it. He'd been pretty open about that, mostly because he was used to everyone knowing he was the Emperor's son, the consul's brother, and then the Emperor's brother. So it wasn't a big deal to him.

However, Neirenn's response to his question caught his attention, though. "You, as well, have found yourself returned home and then here? My own answer is similar. I was here for a few weeks, returned home, and then I was returned to this city. If only we could discover a way to return home permanently and take others with us."
