[active]

Character(s): Auron, open
Content: Auron comes back to Paixao. It's grumptastical.
Setting: A bit past Niflheim gate
Time: Early Evening
Warnings: Auron is incredibly hard to talk to. XD

Auron barely gave the man at the gate a second glance, interrupting him before he could finish his question. "Auron," he said, his voice betraying his annoyance at the entire situation as he took the offered journal and walked into the domes. Here again, was he? He had a feeling the city wasn't going to let him leave anytime soon, but the time spent at home... It seemed to be over in the blink of an eye.

He'd have to find somewhere to stay again. And see if anyone he knew was still here.

He may be hard to talk to, but Aerith wins everything ever with grumps XD

Well, there was one unfamiliar (or maybe familiar, though she didn't remember him) face walking through the streets of Paixao. Over her arm was a basket and in that basket rested a few trinkets and shiny things she'd found. A couple were even flower-shaped, and as she walked around, she stopped to gather what she could, speaking to anyone who asked her questions, and always smiling.

So she was even when she turned suddenly and nearly ran headlong into another person. "Oh! Excuse me!"

Well he looked like he didn't really need help, but being the kind person Aerith was, she had to offer anyway. She hadn't been here long enough to know who had lived here the longest.

"I'm Aerith Gainsborough." She pulled out a couple of flower petals from her basket. "I'm trying to collect them because they remind me of home. Do you need anything, like a few of these for currency or to find someone? I don't know many people here yet, but there are ways to contact them."

She leaned over a little and peered up at him like she used to do to Cloud when she was trying to figure out what he was thinking.

Auron, hm? Aerith smiled at the name and straightened up again, offering him a handful of the flower petals so he could use them to get around the city easier. His appearance didn't bother her at all. She'd seen worse. After all, he wasn't a heartless or a Nobody that she could tell and that was what was important right now.

"It's nice to meet you, Auron," she told him sincerely, adjusting her hold on her basket. His reply was touching, but she shook her head, still smiling. "I don't need anything in return. I just like helping people." But... "But if it would make you feel better, is there anything you think I should know? Since you're returning instead of new." She didn't understand how this returning thing worked, but it couldn't hurt to hear from someone who had been here before, right?

Aerith was just nice like that. She never expected anything in return for her services. Just seeing how she'd helped someone was more than enough for her. The smile on her face warmed. "I don't know very much, just that everyone fears the Organization, though that's no different than home for me. But Sora had just defeated the last of them before I came here. Finding out that they're here is surprising. Do you know anything else about them or the city itself that someone new should know?"

[That's okaaay. Unlike some of my others, Aerith can make up for it |D;]

Only the once, but Aerith knew Sora had taken them down once before, so she was confident he could do it again. She took in what Auron was saying, and nodded in response. The castle thing caught her off-guard, though, and she tried to remember what ones it could be. "It's not the castle in Radiant Garden because Maleficent is gone and she didn't work with memories," she mused, loud enough for Auron to hear. "I wonder which one it could be."

Shaking her head a little, she glanced back at her companion. "People always fear the ones they can't see leading," she agreed, with a determined set to her eyes. "But we can't let them keep us here."

Her voice may have been less dramatic than most would have been at such a declaration, it lacked none of the confidence and determination that should have gone along with her words.

Aerith listened carefully to what Auron was saying, nodding once to show she'd understood. Even a resistance force could be cowed, but under the right leadership, she was sure they could manage something. She wasn't much of a leader unless the situation called for it, but she was always willing to support any efforts she needed to.

"All right," she acknowledged, wondering who Auron was talking about and how she could find them. She could start at another time. "If you know of anyone who needs healing, now or in the future, bring them to me. It's what I was best at back home."

Well if there's one thing Aerith is, it's persistent. She'll find a way to out the resistance members. Without actually outing them to the enemy. Aerith has more tact than that.

"Thank you. It's the least I can do while I'm here." Her hands gripped her basket a little better and she peered at Auron with a smile. "And thanks for your help. I'm sure I'll learn more as I stay here longer, but it's always nice to have a helping hand when you're new."

Straightening up, she glanced around again. "I wonder where Cloud is..." she mused to herself. "I should get back to collecting flowers. They're really good conversation pieces, you know." And she meant that in more ways than one. Good for a table and good for getting people to talk.

It's fine! ♥

Aerith heard the response and took it as she would have taken then same from Cloud. Responding with a smile, a wave, and a nod, she turned and continued on her walk. It was good to know this city had helpful people and many others who seemed to actually know something about what was happening in the city. Her next task was being tactful about finding out where the resistance was hiding. She'd lie low for a bit and then she what she could discover.

At least it wouldn't be too dull of a life here if the Organization was running it, but if that was a good thing or a bad thing was yet to be seen.
