Character(s): Auron, open
Content: Auron comes back to Paixao. It's grumptastical.
Setting: A bit past Niflheim gate
Time: Early Evening
Warnings: Auron is incredibly hard to talk to. XD
Auron barely gave the man at the gate a second glance, interrupting him before he could finish his question. "Auron," he said, his voice betraying his annoyance at the entire situation as he took the offered journal and walked into the domes. Here again, was he? He had a feeling the city wasn't going to let him leave anytime soon, but the time spent at home... It seemed to be over in the blink of an eye.
He'd have to find somewhere to stay again. And see if anyone he knew was still here.

He may be hard to talk to, but Aerith wins everything ever with grumps XD
So she was even when she turned suddenly and nearly ran headlong into another person. "Oh! Excuse me!"

"I'm Aerith Gainsborough." She pulled out a couple of flower petals from her basket. "I'm trying to collect them because they remind me of home. Do you need anything, like a few of these for currency or to find someone? I don't know many people here yet, but there are ways to contact them."
She leaned over a little and peered up at him like she used to do to Cloud when she was trying to figure out what he was thinking.

Coming to a decision, Auron turned his attention back to Aerith, "I'll take a few of the petals." It never stopped feeling odd to say, especially since he hadn't had many occasions to say it. But he needed what "money" he could find in order to get settled into this place again, and this would save him the time it would take to gather the materials himself. "What do you need in return?"

"It's nice to meet you, Auron," she told him sincerely, adjusting her hold on her basket. His reply was touching, but she shook her head, still smiling. "I don't need anything in return. I just like helping people." But... "But if it would make you feel better, is there anything you think I should know? Since you're returning instead of new." She didn't understand how this returning thing worked, but it couldn't hurt to hear from someone who had been here before, right?

((ffff sorry for shortness. Muse is being way more shortwinded than usual. DX))

[That's okaaay. Unlike some of my others, Aerith can make up for it |D;]

Shaking her head a little, she glanced back at her companion. "People always fear the ones they can't see leading," she agreed, with a determined set to her eyes. "But we can't let them keep us here."
Her voice may have been less dramatic than most would have been at such a declaration, it lacked none of the confidence and determination that should have gone along with her words.

"There are those who would fight," Auron finally said. "How many of them that are left in this city I don't know. And it is likely the numbers are low. But still they intend to fight." He would let her do with the information as she would.

"All right," she acknowledged, wondering who Auron was talking about and how she could find them. She could start at another time. "If you know of anyone who needs healing, now or in the future, bring them to me. It's what I was best at back home."

Auron nodded. "I'll point them in your direction."

"Thank you. It's the least I can do while I'm here." Her hands gripped her basket a little better and she peered at Auron with a smile. "And thanks for your help. I'm sure I'll learn more as I stay here longer, but it's always nice to have a helping hand when you're new."
Straightening up, she glanced around again. "I wonder where Cloud is..." she mused to herself. "I should get back to collecting flowers. They're really good conversation pieces, you know." And she meant that in more ways than one. Good for a table and good for getting people to talk.

His only response to her was a small, noncommittal noise. He didn't know who this "Cloud" of hers was, and he didn't have much to say on the subject of flowers. There wasn't much he could do but tell "Cloud" someone was looking for them, and the chances he would actually come across this person at some point, Auron figured, was quite low considering all the people who went through the gates. But if it was something he could do, he saw no reason why he couldn't do it.
((*sob* I lost my first draft of this. Sorry if it's not as good DX))
It's fine! ♥
At least it wouldn't be too dull of a life here if the Organization was running it, but if that was a good thing or a bad thing was yet to be seen.
