A Little Bit of Risky Business [Active]

Character(s): Wolf, Genie, anyone else who loves the rock
Content: Genie lends Wolf some of his music with a cd player
Setting: Iriela Apartments
Time: Mid Afternoon
Warnings: Really Silly

Wolf walked down the steps of the apartment complex, holding a glass of water in his hand. He just got done carrying the last pieces of furniture into his room. Sighing, he worked up quite a sweat and his muscles ached. Wolf wore his tank top and jeans with his tail let loose, but he swears if he saw a girl he’d probably would have to fetch some deodorant.

Leaning against the wall of the building, Wolf drank the cup and sighed in relief. Once he’s done getting everything else like the non-heavy stuff like clothes inside he’s pretty much done. That reminded him, that Genie guy told him he might lend him some music. He should probably hang around while he’s outside to see if he comes by. Besides, he’s gotta relax sometime. He’s has been doing a lot of moving this week, both with his place and Lottie’s home.

Wolf found a near by bench and sat in it. He stretched himself out and started hum the theme of what Virginia use to sing “We Will Sheer You”, although it was suppose to be “We Will Rock You”, but that was the only version he knew off hand.

Genie would have insisted he carry at least one of the bags up for Wolf but it looked as though there would be little room for argument. Wolf was quick on his feet, appearing to have grabbed both bags and begun to head into the apartment in record time. Well, record time for a wolf, he supposed. Genie could have still easily snatched the bags away, however it felt rather senseless at such a point, not to mention outright rude. He looked down at Poncho briefly in thought before returning a nod to Wolf. “Alright, if you insist.”

Before he followed Wolf inside he safely teleported him back home. There was no telling what the Lumen would do inside the apartment. He had never taken Poncho into another home before. And although any furniture it could have ruined was easily replaceable, Genie still found himself with no desire to even chance it. “Don’t claw up the furniture while I’m gone.” He warned the Lumen before he vanished from sight.

Once invited inside the apartment, Genie curiously observed it from wall-to-wall, arms folded behind his back. It looked as though Wolf had kept it substantially well kept for ‘a guy’, even if he had only recently moved it. From his experience, it didn’t take very long for mans room, never mind their house itself, to get messy. He was guilty himself of this, having thrown something somewhere with the intention of putting it away later… And never doing so. Speaking of putting things down, he wasn’t quite sure where to put the albums he had been carrying. True, the genie may have appeared as though he had walked into the apartment empty handed but hidden away (perhaps under his haramaki somehow?) he had brought with him more music than any disc jockey could ever dream of owning.

Holding out his vinyl copy of ‘Queen: Greatest Hits’ he went to turn it on while Wolf rummaged in the fridge. However, Genie was quickly met with confusion. Nothing as far as he could tell looked even remotely close to a record player. He scratched his head and looked at the album cover. Hm, maybe records were a little outdated. Perhaps Wolf had an 8-track player? No, wait. Those hadn’t had died out in the seventies. A cassette or CD player would be more appropriate. Yeah, maybe he had one of those kicking around? He went to Wolf’s side, holding up his vinyl questioningly before he found himself met with another problem.

He blinked numerous times at Wolf, almost as though he hadn’t heard what the man had said before he lowered the album. “Oh, you’re a fan of Meat Loaf? I never knew! Michael- or should I say Marvin- Lee Aday is just fantastic and I don’t just mean his music. You can’t forget about all the television and movie appearances he’s made too. This is so typical of me, loving his most notable stuff, but he really was great in ‘The Rocky Horror Picture Show’. And his album trilogy! Don’t even get me started about that! I can’t think of many other trilogy’s quite like ‘Bat Out of-‘” Pausing, he suddenly realized he hadn’t heard the man quite as well as he thought he had. “... You didn’t say Meat Loaf, did you?”
