Open for Business [Active/Open]
Character(s): Megara, open to all (Rose? Tiana? Yuna? EMPLOYEES?)
Content: Megara reopens the Seventh Heaven, hoping some new employees (and customers) stop by.
Setting: Seventh Heaven [G7]
Time: Week 20, morning
Warnings: Probably none.
Note: This thread will be like any large group threads with encounters divided by comment string. Feel free to start your own or jump into someone elses!
This was probably a mistake. Meg had never operated a business before; it was pretty counter-intuitive to the whole "eternal slave to the god of death" thing. Working for Hades left little time to get comfortable and situated, after all. And even when he didn't specifically need her for, say, seducing some monster of legend to his side or spying on the enemy, her lot in life meant getting close to anyone was heartbreak in the making.
But working for Tifa as a waitress at the Seventh Heaven had given her a small glimmer of pride and accomplishment that she kept inside herself and would never admit to. Now with the former boss presumably vanished to where she came from, Meg wasn't about to let the one good part of this stupid place lay abandoned and forgotten on the wayside...even if it meant she had to take up the reins herself.
Now she unlocked the door and opened the curtains, lighting the lamps and just generally getting ready for the day. Of course, until Rose or Yuna's friend came along, the Seventh Heaven wouldn't be offering any food, for everyone's sake. But she could mix a drink and serve the already premade snacks and non-alcoholic beverages.
Megara took her position behind the bar and began to wipe the counter down, ready for the day.

"We met a while back, a couple months ago, in the Underworld. You were going to talk to Hades about Hercules, but I went instead. And... I don't know how to prove to you that I'm not lying, Meg."
no subject
"What...what do you know about...Hades?" she ground out, glancing around furtively as if there were anyone else there.

"That he's the god of the Underworld, he wants to kill Hercules, and he worked for Maleficent," Sora replied, then after remembering what he did to Cloud and had tried to do to Auron, he added, "He's a swindler, who tries to manipulate people into doing the dirty work for him." It was obvious in Sora's tone of voice that the boy didn't like Hades, not in the least.

Sora hadn't mentioned that he knew Meg was working for the creep himself and she had no intention of filling him in on that little tidbit. With any luck, she could spin this into a simple matter of her having the barest interaction with the death god.

And Meg didn't have to worry about Sora knowing that she worked for Hades. Sora wouldn't believe it if she said so, he didn't think Meg was like that.

She turned away again and rummaged around in a nearby counter, bringing out a covered platter of cookies. She placed it in front of Sora, lifting off the lid and putting it aside. "Here. Now why don't you tell me about yourself? I think I'm done with hearing about me."

Sora took one of the cookies when Meg offered them and started munching on it. "Oh," He said between bites of the cookie, "What about me?"

She walked around the counter to join him on the other side, hitching her skirts up a bit to sit on the stool next to him.

"It's kind of a long story, Meg. I was looking for my friends, but I also couldn't let the Heartless hurt people and mess up the worlds," Sora explained, "I mean, the Keyblade chose me for a reason..."
no subject
"So what's a Keyblade?" she asked, picking up a cookie for herself and taking a bite.
