So I offer my life as a sacrifice (Active / Closed)

Character(s): Xion, Naminé, Roxas (maybe others later)
Content: Naminé and Xion go on a Roxas-hunt! Be vewwy, vewwy quiet. We're hunting Nobodies!
Setting: Near Niflheim Gate - Cafe Ersesat and then the gate
Time: Week 18, Morning, right after this thread
Warnings: Wibbles... and depressing things.

Naminé was worried. She knew Roxas was here. She knew over half of the Organization was here. What she didn't know were the details. How was everyone dealing with each other? Timon had said Roxas was trying to get out of the Organization. What did that mean here? Naminé didn't know. And it worried her.

Finding out that Sora was awake and here was enough of a surprise for her. Finding out that Roxas and Xion were, too, was something entirely different. How this was possible, she didn't know. All she knew was that something with this whole city was off. Once Naminé and Xion had spoken over the network, Naminé decided she'd go talk to the other girl. Maybe they could figure things out themselves, like what was going on around here. But it would also give them an opportunity to talk again and Naminé was looking forward to seeing someone who wouldn't give her hell for being a Nobody.

The blonde girl was waiting in the cafe pretty early on. For whatever reason, she'd been unable to sleep. Might have had something to do with the fact that Timon still didn't like her. So, she was sipping on lemonade as she waited for Xion to arrive. Hopefully, things wouldn't be too weird now.

Marluxia... he'd been one of the ones to go to Castle Oblivion the first time, was what she vaguely remembered of it. She didn't remember much from those early days, still.

"Well..." Xion looked at Roxas, thinking. She couldn't exactly pick up Roxas by herself either. "How far is it? I suppose... we could drag him. Carefully."

[identity profile] whodoyou-see.livejournal.com 2010-02-20 06:11 am (UTC)(link)
Xion shifted Roxas's back so it was securely over her shoulder before bending down to pick up Roxas's feet. Thankfully, he wasn't too heavy. "Alright. Which way?"

"Wh-wha...?" Roxas opened his eyes slowly, blinking a few times to gain focus, and a few more times to get used to the harsh sunlight. He was sore everywhere.

Then he realized that he wasn't on the ground. Not only that, but the ground was above him. And it was moving.

"WHOA!!" Startled, his body went stiff for a moment, just enough to release him from the people who were carrying him; resulting in a fall. He landed hard on the ground, but scrambled quickly to his feet, cringing at the aching of his muscles and plenty of bruises he hadn't realized were there. What happened last night?

He faced two girls when he stood. They looked kind of similar, except one was taller and had black hair instead of blond. It took him a few seconds to clear his head, and to remember how to form a sentence. "Who...who are you guys? And why were you carrying me?"

Xion probably wouldn't have let Roxas fall, had she been less surprised by the fact that he was awake. "Roxas!" she proclaimed happily, before... hearing the question.

He didn't remember her? Namine was understandable, since even though Namine knew about Roxas it probably didn't work the other way around... but her? Part of her was a little hurt, but... Sora had mentioned different times. Maybe he just...

Still, she took a step closer and smiled. "It's me. Xion. And this is Namine. We found you passed out on the beach, and we were worried, so..."

[identity profile] oath-ofoblivion.livejournal.com 2010-02-21 10:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Roxas took a defensive step back, eyes darting around to try to figure out where he was. "X-Xion? Am I...supposed to know you?" He tried to remember something--anything, but...the memories just weren't there.

He put a hand on his temple, feeling a bump and a tender spot that was probably bruised. "Why...can't I remember anything? I...don't recognize either of you at all. Where are we?" The questions came one after another, as soon as they came to his mind. But since the girls didn't seem to be threatening him at all, he tried to let himself relax...and stumbled forward.

[identity profile] whodoyou-see.livejournal.com 2010-02-21 10:50 pm (UTC)(link)
Xion held her hands up to catch Roxas when he stumbled, looking worried while her own mind buzzed. He really didn't remember her? He couldn't remember anything? What had happened to him?

"This is Paixao..." she said, as that was the only thing she really knew the answer to herself right now, "Roxas, you... don't remember anything? Like how you got here?"

Granted, of course~

[identity profile] oath-ofoblivion.livejournal.com 2010-02-22 05:01 am (UTC)(link)
"Huh?" The blond boy was surprised to be caught before he could fall.

"It's all a blank," Roxas answered Xion, trying to get back to supporting his own weight, and taking a few seconds to do so. Once he was steady again, he looked around more carefully.

"Paixao...?" The name didn't ring any bells. Nothing rang any bells at all. Especially not the scenery. Something about both these girls seemed vaguely familiar, but that was probably just because they kind of looked the same. "What kind of place is it?" He saw a few domes connected to each other a distance away, and wondered if that was what they were talking about.

It was only a moment after he asked that Naminé said that thing about checking his memory. "How...how can you do that?" He was terribly confused, and none of this was helping. These two girls seemed to know who he was...but how could they, when he didn't even know himself right now? Did he...know them already? From before?

[identity profile] whodoyou-see.livejournal.com 2010-02-22 05:06 am (UTC)(link)
Since he was talking to Namine, Xion lapsed into silence. He... really didn't remember. He was alright, and alive, and hadn't vanished, but he didn't remember. Why? If Namine hadn't looked as confused as she was feeling, she'd be afraid that she was the one with memory problems.

[identity profile] oath-ofoblivion.livejournal.com 2010-02-22 08:36 pm (UTC)(link)
"...Gone?" Roxas' mouth hung open a little in disbelief. "That's--" His volume dropped suddenly before he finished. "...That's...it?" His gaze fell to the ground. "But...that doesn't make any sense..." he whispered slowly. Looking back up at Naminé, he let his voice rise again. "Why would someone do that to me?"

His eyes again fell, eyelids half-closed with them, but his words were no softer than they had been for the last question. "...Was there something I did that was bad...? Did I...deserve this?"

[identity profile] whodoyou-see.livejournal.com 2010-02-22 08:50 pm (UTC)(link)
No. No. This wasn't supposed to be happening- not to either of them, not at all and if it had happened, it was supposed to be to her first. That's what Riku had said, that's what Namine had said, because her memories had come from Roxas so they had to return first and--

She really didn't want to think about that right now.

"Roxas..." What were they supposed to do, with something like this. "You didn't deserve this, no matter what might have happened. Maybe... maybe they'll come back." This was not said with much conviction, but she carefully reached a hand out. "I don't think we'll find out anything else out here, though."

Not to mention that the Organization couldn't find out. To them right now, Roxas was sure to be considered 'worthless,' since he probably didn't remember how to use the keyblade. She couldn't take him back to headquarters, and if they stayed out here...

[identity profile] oath-ofoblivion.livejournal.com 2010-02-23 02:46 am (UTC)(link)
Roxas stayed quiet for a moment. This was a lot to take in. He looked apprehensive as Xion reached out to him, but tried not to pull back from her. She...seemed to know him really well. He wondered if they'd been friends. Naminé knew a lot about him, but...he didn't feel like she was someone important to him. She was really shy...it made Roxas wonder if something bad had happened to her.

He blinked when Naminé handed him a bag...well, his bag, apparently. "Oh...thanks..." He opened it, and inside was a weird black coat. "What's so special about it?"

But another question came to his mind only a moment later. "And...why do you guys know so much about me?"

[identity profile] whodoyou-see.livejournal.com 2010-02-23 02:49 am (UTC)(link)
"It's sort of a uniform, I guess." Xion has never seen much of another purpose to the coats. Black might blend in well in the corridors, but not so much in Agrabah or anything. "For a group we're both in. And you're..." Her best friend. Or, one of her best friends. But he might not be ready to hear things like that right now. "You're my friend."

[identity profile] oath-ofoblivion.livejournal.com 2010-02-23 11:05 pm (UTC)(link)
"Oh..."

That single response went for everything the two girls had just said. Like there was anything else Roxas could've said that would have made sense. He had no idea what she was talking about. "What...what group are we in, Xion?"

He turned to address Naminé. "And Naminé, what's Castle Oblivion?"

[identity profile] whodoyou-see.livejournal.com 2010-02-23 11:58 pm (UTC)(link)
"It's called Organization XIII. Lots of people here don't seem to like it, though." Which made sense, from what she'd heard.

Still, Namine's comment got an odd look from her. "Namine... when were you at Castle Oblivion?" Before now, anyway. Did Namine not know that this was the castle?

[identity profile] oath-ofoblivion.livejournal.com 2010-02-24 03:28 am (UTC)(link)
Roxas tried to remember what Organization XIII was supposed to be, but he didn't know any more about it than anything else.

...Great. More people and places he didn't know. Instead of asking about them this time, though, he just stayed quiet. They would probably just tell him he used to know them again.

[identity profile] whodoyou-see.livejournal.com 2010-02-24 03:42 am (UTC)(link)
"Namine, this is--" Wait, Roxas was looking confused enough as it was. Maybe this wasn't the best place for that conversation. She went quiet, looking over at him and trying to figure out how to explain all these.

Maybe she shouldn't try to explain it.

"We should just get you somewhere else, for now." So Saix the Organization wouldn't find them. "We could try to explain more later."
