So I offer my life as a sacrifice (Active / Closed)

Character(s): Xion, Naminé, Roxas (maybe others later)
Content: Naminé and Xion go on a Roxas-hunt! ~~Be vewwy, vewwy quiet. We're hunting Nobodies!~~
Setting: Near Niflheim Gate - Cafe Ersesat and then the gate
Time: Week 18, Morning, right after this thread
Warnings: Wibbles... and depressing things.

Naminé was worried. She knew Roxas was here. She knew over half of the Organization was here. What she didn't know were the details. How was everyone dealing with each other? Timon had said Roxas was trying to get out of the Organization. What did that mean here? Naminé didn't know. And it worried her.

Finding out that Sora was awake and here was enough of a surprise for her. Finding out that Roxas and Xion were, too, was something entirely different. How this was possible, she didn't know. All she knew was that something with this whole city was off. Once Naminé and Xion had spoken over the network, Naminé decided she'd go talk to the other girl. Maybe they could figure things out themselves, like what was going on around here. But it would also give them an opportunity to talk again and Naminé was looking forward to seeing someone who wouldn't give her hell for being a Nobody.

The blonde girl was waiting in the cafe pretty early on. For whatever reason, she'd been unable to sleep. Might have had something to do with the fact that Timon still didn't like her. So, she was sipping on lemonade as she waited for Xion to arrive. Hopefully, things wouldn't be too weird now.

Xion was worried. Roxas had been missing for who knew how long, since she hadn't seen or heard anything about him (other than he was 'busy') since she had arrived. She hadn't thought about the possible connection with Sora when she'd met him, but now that she had... she hoped she was wrong. She didn't want him to disappear. She didn't want either of them to disappear.

Hearing from Namine was a slight relief, because she knew that Xion knew what she was, and the connections between her, Roxas, and Sora. The suggestion to go and look for Roxas was an added bonus- even if she wasn't sure how to face him with what she now knew, it was a start. And she had to make sure he was alright. So she put on clothes that would allow her to blend in (more than her coat did, anyway), pulled the hood from the jacket over her face, before rushing out to meet up with Namine.

As she approached, she saw blonde hair sitting at one of the tables. "Namine," she said quietly upon her approach, "Hello."

Naminé had just finished her lemonade when she heard someone say her name. The blonde girl glanced up and offered a smile as she stood. "Xion. It's good to see you again."

Naminé was a kind soul by nature and even after everything she'd experienced at the hands of the Organization and DiZ, that calm, quiet, and sweet nature had never left her. In fact, the longer she'd stayed with DiZ, the more it had shone.

But she was also learning to stand up for herself and this suggestion to go look for Roxas was only the beginning of that.

"Do you want to start looking now?"

Xion managed a smile, honest if a little awkward. "It's nice to see you too." It really was, even if it was here and searching for someone Xion was very worried about. So she nodded to Namine's question. "Yes. I just... Do we know where to start?" She had a place in mind if Namine had nonideas, but she didn't know if Namine knew more about this than she did.

Naminé honestly didn't know where to start. She had only a small idea of where to look, but if Xion had ideas, they would probably be best. "Not really. Maybe an ice cream place, but I don't really know him that well," she admitted. "Did you have any ideas?"

That would be a good idea, but Roxas liked having other people to eat ice cream with most of the time. Or, at least, that's what she thought. "That could work. I was thinking that we might want to check the beach..." Since there was one here, and they had promised on their next break that they were going to go together.

"That's probably a good idea, too," Naminé agreed with a nod as she started towards the door. "There's one nearby, isn't there? We could check there first." Pulling the door open, she walked through it and turned to wait for Xion on the other side.

"Right." Xion followed Namine out, walking quietly besides her for a moment. However, that didn't last long. "Namine... Sora's here."

Naminé paused ever so slightly in her walk and sighed. "I know," she answered softly. "I don't know how, but I've talked to him." She glanced at Xion then, to judge how the other girl was reacting. "Have you spoken to him?"

Xion nodded, glancing over at the blonde girl. "I don't understand. Shouldn't I... is Roxas...?" She didn't know how to finish the sentence, but... Namine probably understand.

Naminé did indeed understand completely. The unfortunate thing was that she didn't have an answer. "I don't understand it, either. Sora wasn't awake when I last saw him."

She ran a hand through the part of her hair resting on her shoulder. "But Roxas is here, Sora is here... and so are you. I guess I just have to watch Sora... in case something goes wrong."

It was one of the few times she almost wished DiZ were there. He might know what was going on. Maybe. If he didn't beat her into the ground over her mistakes first.

The fourteenth member fell silent, thinking this over. But what if Roxas wasn't here anymore? Sora had showed up about the same time she did, apparently, and Roxas hadn't been around since. She couldn't help but worry.

Still, that could wait. If they could find them, then there was no need to worry.

Naminé hesitated, noticing Xion's silence. She had to hope that Roxas really was there and that Sora would be okay and Xion, too. Everything about their existence in this place was weird. It wasn't supposed to have happened.

But, then again... None of them were supposed to exist in the first place.

She paused as they reached Niflheim, staring up at it in awe and a little worry. "Here's a gate. Do you think he's behind it?"

"Maybe," Xion said, uncertainly, "I don't really know what's past it."

Still, that didn't stop her from walking start through it, looking around for any sign of her best friend.

Naminé was about to ask where the beach was, but Xion had walked through the gates before she could get it out. Feeling a little nervous about where they were going, Naminé followed, hoping they wouldn't run into anything or anyone.

"I guess we could find out." She walked a bit further out, eyes open for anything that might be related to Roxas. It took a bit of walking, but eventually they came to a beach.

And that was when Naminé spotted the sack. She frowned and walked closer. "Xion... can you tell what that is?" The blonde girl pointed it out to the other, hesitant to pick it up in case it was something dangerous.

Xion turned once Namine pointed, bending down once she was near it. "I don't know..." Figuring since it was abandoned no one would mind if she looked, she carefully took the bag and opened. She stared inside it for a moment, before raising a black, hooded coat up so Namine could see.

Naminé watched carefully as Xion inspected the bag, examining the coat. "Is it his?" It looked like an Organization coat, but she didn't know the difference between the different members.

Something fell out as Xion raised the coat, though, and Naminé knelt down to pick it up. "A journal? Do you recognize it?" She held it up to show Xion.

Xion stood with coat, dismayed to find it about her size- and Roxas was the only one near her height. "I think so... I don't know about the journal, though. I've never seen his. Maybe if you turn it on we'll be able to tell."

Naminé didn't like the look Xion was displaying then, but she nodded and tried to turn on the journal, hoping it would be as easy as her own was. It seemed to work. The entry that displayed wasn't one she'd paid any attention to, but it was a specific one and she frowned slightly. They were talking about the Organization. And... something about the comments themselves was bothering her.

"It... looks like it might be his. Maybe he's nearby."

She had to hope he was nearby. Naminé didn't want to think that he wasn't.

But then she glanced back at the journal and frowned again. The comments... they looked special... almost as though they'd been intentionally locked. But why was this journal displaying them? Was Roxas just good at this sort of thing?

Deciding to dwell more on this, Naminé figured one of them should still be looking for Roxas.

"Xion, do you see him nearby?"

Xion didn't understand the differences in journals- hers had those features too, after all- so she didn't pay any attention to that once Namine said it was Roxas's. She stuffed the coat back in the bag and picked it up- it was Roxas's, after all- looking around again. "He might be further down." She hoped he was.

This was definitely making Naminé nervous. She didn't know what it meant exactly, but she didn't like it. It was almost as though... the Organization was spying. But how could they do something like that? Weren't they trapped here, too?

"I hope so." Holding onto the journal for a moment before turning it off, she turned to follow Xion, mind still focused on what she'd just seen.

Xion walked down a bit further, before seeing something that looked like blonde hair further down. "Roxas?" she called, walking a little faster before jogging to see if it was actually him.

Naminé glanced up when she heard Xion call out, spotting the head of blond hair a second after Xion started running over to him. Naminé jogged after her, hoping that this was really Roxas and not someone else. Once there, though, she got a good look at him.

"Roxas!" Naminé cried, kneeling down next to him and trying to determine if something had happened to him. He seemed okay... "I can't tell if something's wrong..." She hoped not.

"We should take him somewhere, though." But... where. Timon would kill her if she brought him home.

"Roxas...!" Xion shook him slightly, hoping he hadn't fallen asleep like before. It didn't seem like that, maybe he'd been in a fight? She dug through her pockets to try and find a potion before Namine spoke. "Where would we take him?" Nevermind how they would get him anywhere- Xion didn't know Namine's connection with the Organization, exactly, but putting them together would probably not work out well.

Naminé shook her head. "I don't know. We could take him to where I've been staying..." But that was a big risk. And she'd have to be sure.

The blonde glanced up at her companion. "Xion... if I asked you to keep something secret for me, would you?"

Unable to wake Roxas up, Xion sighed and looked at Namine. "That might be best... And I would. I promise."
