Let's start flying now ♪ [Active/Open]
Character(s): Kanata, and whoever else happens by.
Content: Yet another Overlord joins the ranks of those in Paixao.
Setting: Muspelheim Gate.
Time: I wanna say afternoon-ish?
Warnings: None thus far!
It wasn't uncommon for flotsam with people and aliens to drift by every now and then, so Kanata had gotten past the people at the gate with little concern. Sure, how they acted was kind of weird, and he certainly wasn't expecting them to give him something. But Kanata was far more distracted by all the other sights past the gate. (Though the gate itself was pretty neat too, it had such cool flame designs.) He had yet to see any flotsam this big and extravagant drift by, oh, how his heart was pounding at the thought of exploring all this! "Whoaaa, look at how huge this place is! There must be all kinds of new things to see here!"
But when there was no reply, no other comments, no "Lord Kanata, please stay focused"--it finally hit him. "Tsubaki?" Kanata called out tentatively, glancing back over his shoulder.
No one was there.
That was more than a little worrying.
Equally as worrying, was how the lighting of the place caught his eye upon second glance.
Kanata turned his gaze upward, confused and starting to feel a little panicked. Something was definitely off here. Where was everything? The dragons? The stars? Shooting stars? All the items and flotsam floating around? Where was the sky itself? "What's going on?" he muttered quietly. With his brow furrowed in concern, Kanata marched forward towards the crowds. Maybe he had just missed everyone back at the gate?
"Heeeey! Tsubaki? Etna? Pamela-?"

Myths?
"That's not true!" Kanata clenched his fists and looked at Grace fiercely, childishly. She was wrong! And with all the pride of a little kid who knew something their science teacher didn't, he was going to tell her so. "They're very popular back home! I mean, how else would everyone get around?!" Well, rockets, ships, or magic probably. That aside, they were common. Really!
"Ah! And thanks for showing me how the journal works, even if it's pretty disappointing," Kanata said, calming down and nodding to the journal. "But I guess it still sounds useful." Despite the frown, he was determined. He would definitely figure this all out and find someone yet!
