A scientist and a scholar meet near a gate... (Active / Closed)
Character(s): Vexen; Zexion
Content: Vexen's coming back to the city from somewhere. And he runs into Zexion on his way back to headquarters.
Setting: Near Vanaheim Gate
Time: Week 16, afternoonish
Warnings: Vexen and Zexion?
He had no intention of joining the crowds of people streaming through the entrance, and created a darkness corridor. Walking through, he exited on the top of one of the buildings on the other side of Vanaheim, still near the gate, perfect for observation. He was behind on his experiments, having to leave the city in order to gather reconnaissance information for the rest of the Organization.
He stood along the edge of the roof, watching as people streamed in through the gate, almost all of them the citizens of the city. Were they interested in the new area outside of the dome? He mused over that thought as he watched the people below. From what he could read on the network, many of the outsiders were interested in the door beyond the Church.
"We'll just have to see how many people make it out there."

Of course, his version of 'simple' wasn't always but this one of the rare case where the meaning matched well enough to the common usage. It had been the preparation that had been difficult, instead.
