So this minion walks into a bar...[Complete]
Character(s): Megara, Tifa
Content: Meg looks for a job at the sexiest bar in town.
Setting: Seventh Heaven [G7]
Time: Midday, week 16
Warnings: None.
Tifa had seemed concerned. Heartless on the streets was apparently a constant threat, but based on what Meg had heard from various people, she might be one of the few with little reason to worry. After all, if Hades was one of the people controlling them, what was the likelihood that he'd risk one of his (or maybe only) pawns?
She sighed as she headed towards the G7 district, ducking her head. Maybe this was a bad idea. As long as Hades was here, she was a disaster waiting to happen to anyone around her. Tifa seemed like a nice girl, real helpful and friendly...she didn't deserve the fate that would no doubt befall her if Hades caught wind of this.
Meg stopped walking, crossed her arms and scowled at nothing for a moment before turning around and heading back the way she came. A few seconds later, she stopped again, sighing heavily, and turned around once more. It wouldn't hurt just to check the place out, right? As much as she liked the odd ambiance of The Cheap Prayer, she needed a new haunt. Not to mention she was absolutely famished.
So she made short work of the rest of the trip, finally coming across what looked like an old suite, abandoned for years but recently cleaned up to the best of its ability. The sign was clear as day, so this had to be it.
Megara pushed the door open, poking her head inside, one eyebrow arched. "Hello?"

Megara pushed the door open, poking her head inside, one eyebrow arched. "Hello?"

Meg's style of dress certainly seemed a bit different from what Tifa was used to seeing in her own world, but it was curvy in all of the right places. Hopefully she wouldn't object to wearing an apron.

She brought her gaze down from the walls to the woman in question, blinking once at the surprising beauty of her. What was a woman like this doing in a bar? Well, it didn't matter. Actually, this worked out for the best: with someone as pretty as Tifa in the room, the usual creeps who would hit on Megara would undoubtedly be drawn to the busty brunette instead.
Meg smiled slightly.

After a few more bites, she paused, fork frozen over the plate. She glanced at Tifa sheepishly. "Uh, this is really good. Thanks."

"I... I'm not sure. Not right now, anyway." Tifa's raven tresses, from the angle she was looking, blocked Meg's view of her eyes, her lips were clearly visible as she stated so, however. "I've discovered that my friends are here. Some of them, anyway... but I can't find them. I don't know if we even come from the same time, but... why are they avoiding me? That worries me. Is he in pain, again? Does he not remember the times we spent together, or the promise we made under that star-filled sky on the water well?" Tifa's gaze lowered. "Or... the sacrifice our friend made on behalf of all of us?"
"Just as I thought he finally got over his guilt..." Tifa slowly turned back to Megara. "If he's trapped again, I want to be able to find him and help him, once more." A slight smile formed on her lips, though hesitantly. "I'm sorry, I don't mean to ramble on."

"Hey, don't worry about it," she replied casually, leaning back in the chair and crossing her legs. "I mean, I didn't get a single thing you said after 'I can't find them,' but I don't need to understand." She tilted her head, the cool violet of her eyes no warmer despite the smile. "You might want to try calling them out specifically over the message board, though. Men can be pretty stupid."
no subject
"Clueless, too." Tifa responded with a nod in a kidding manner with a light chuckle. "I'll definitely give it a try. Anyway, I don't think there'll be any specific uniforms or anything, other than an apron if you want to not get dirty. Are you able to read and write?"
no subject
"Is there anything else I should know? What sort of customer are you looking to bring in?" Meg stood up from the table and began walking slowly around the room, occasionally touching something. She glanced at Tifa, one eyebrow arched. "What'll you do if some creep who can't get his pea-sized brain to understand what 'no' means comes crashing?"
no subject
"... I was planning on taking it down, anyway." Tifa chuckled. "But as long as I'm here, I won't stand for any harassment whatsoever." There may have been a time when she was a bit shy about that sort of thing, but years of training and being around her friends, Tifa was able to stand up for herself.

As the dust cleared, she joined her new employer by the crumbled wall. She gave Tifa a genuine smile, small though it was, and held out her hand. "Looks like we're in business. Thanks for job, Tifa."
no subject
"Want to take your food to go? I'll let you know once I gets things in enough shape to open up."

With that, she opened the door and stepped out into the sunlight, hips swaying.
