Someone's Been Sleeping In My Bed [Complete]

Character(s): Vyers, Laharl and Timon
Content: A swinging reunion takes place... In bed.
Setting: Vyer's Apartment
Time:  Week 12, Morning
Warnings: Two Three men, one bed.

Though it had been some time since he had called on the demon, only then had it seemed necessary. It assured him security; comfort, at most, just to know Vyers would allow him to stay. Someone still liked him. Trusted him. Though at this point Timon was not sure how well he trusted the mid-boss in return. He would never admit it but since his escape from the Organization’s clutches he had actually been avoiding the demon. Timon was sure the vain peacock hadn’t noticed, he failed to notice a lot of things, but in another way he was thankful. If Vyers could not tell something had held the meerkat back then there would be no questions regarding ‘what’, ‘why’ or even ‘who’ - not that Timon ever planned to give him a valid explanation. It simply avoided any awkwardness or role confusion between the two of them: for as far as Timon was concerned he was the brains of the operation. He wanted to appear as strong as possible in the demons eyes. Cool, calm, composed and in control. If he had shown up on the Dark Adonis’ doorstep as weak, lost and helpless as he had felt after his escape that powerful image would have surely been shattered.

The walk to the demon’s apartment had seemed short compared to the amount of thinking the rodent had managed to do in the same amount of time. The meerkat had thought enough about Vyers he worried he might have exceeded the man’s own thought of himself. Although, Timon had certainly not been admiring him… Not completely. What kind of mook left a window wide open in the middle of the night anyway? It was practically as large an invitation as leaving his front door open. Thankfully the demon had proved smart enough to at least keep it closed at this point.

Timon sighed and climbed down from the window and into the moonlit bedroom. He was sure the largest bed in the apartment was in this room, just as sure as that the mid-boss was sleeping in it, even before moving in for a closer look. The bed looked inviting; soft and comfortable while Vyers produced enough heat to be a furnace. The meerkat did not need to think twice before jumping onto the bed and curling up next to Vyers. Warmth, comfort, security: he needed it and it was there. All he had to do now was wake up before the demon and he would never know.

The meerkat closed his eyes and grinned. He was home.
