Just another walk through the park in the dark (Active / OPEN)
Character(s): Celes and OPEN
Content: Celes goes for a walk
Setting: J5 or so
Time: Week 8, Night
Warnings: possible battling of Heartless later?
It wasn't the first time Celes had gone somewhere alone and blind. She supposed she was lucky to get so far without incurring many scrapes or bruises even with the number of Heartless things running around and amok. Still, it was good practice and rather satisfying to churn her way through the massive amount of things in her way. Every so often, she'd let loose with a spell so she could see her way through, but for the most part the glow of their eyes provided enough of a light source that she wasn't very worried about hitting anything she didn't want to hit.
Cutting through a particularly obnoxious one, Celes thought about the last time she'd fought anything or anyone and scowled slightly, earning her a scrape on the arm from one of the little shadow things. Kefka had been her last encounter and even though he'd ended up depleting his magic supply so he had to flee, she didn't consider it a true victory. That was why she still had to train... that and who knew what other things would turn up in this strange world, place, city, whatever it was.
Grumbling to herself inwardly, the ex-general sliced around with both blades, happy for the fact that she at least hadn't lost her touch. With any luck, she never would. That would be a rather embarassing headline: "Former General Gets Ousted By Shadows." She shuddered to think of what a field day Kefka would have with that. Twirling herself around like a dancer, she stabbed one that had been trying to sneak up on her from behind, before wheeling around and aiming at a sound on the other side.
At least she still had a good spar to cool her off.

Would there ever be an end to the flood? Even she did have her limits, not that she'd reached them at all yet, of course, but eventually she would need to rest. For now the Tarutaru remained almost silent, but for the odd chuckle, having nothing at the moment to contribute.
