Maleficent certainly hoped Hades wouldn't make a habit of dropping every person who wanted to speak to them on her hands. She would be most displeased if there were too many repeats of this. This time, however, she let it slide as her interest was vaguely peaked. At least enough to spare a few minutes of her time.

For now she remained hidden through magical means, waiting for her visitor. She didn't particularly want to attract any unplanned visitors, after all.

He did seem to appear to be nothing more than just a young man, yet there was something interesting about him, certainly. It was enough that Maleficent didn't wait too long to make her enterance.

A green glowing orb appeared from the thorns, floating down to the pavement, expanding and spreading momentarily into green flames as a dark robed figure formed within them. They flames died away and the light shrunk and stretched into the staff she grasped in her long, thin fingers.

"Greetings, my visitor," she said, raising a hand briefly before moving it to pet the beak of her pet raven, who'd flown from somewhere above and landed on her shoulder.
