Time to rescue the Princess, er, summoner! (Active, Open)

Who: Harry Dresden, Belle, Hades, Yuna, anyone looking to save the latter from the former.
What: The citizens of Paixao gather to save one of their own from the God of Death
Where: Starts at Yuuko's shop, then makes its way over to Hades' hideout
When: The night Belle and Harry found Hades hideout
Warnings: Probably violence, will update as needed
Notes: Okay, this is one of those pesky large scale logs, so everyone try and move fast (says the hypocrite) especially in the beginning. I figure we get everyone to tag in at Yuuko's shop, Harry and Belle will outline the location and plan, and then everyone split up into teams and make their way to the house. From there, things can hit the fan.

It had taken some time for Harry and Belle to get back to Yuuko's shop, having taken a different path and used some magical and mundane trickery to hopefully keep them from being followed. With any luck, by now people would have started to arrive.

Belle had kept Harry up to date on the responses on the message board, and he'd taken the time to try and sketch out a rough plan. It was far from perfect, but they couldn't leave Yuna imprisoned any longer than they had to, so for now it would have to do. With any luck, the others would have some suggestions as well.

Turning the street, he saw the familiar wall of Yuuko's shop, and turning to Belle grinned and said, "Well, I hope we have enough time to get the party set up before the guests arrive.

Heartless, huh? Well, at least they sounded like a downright cheerful bunch. They certainly weren't as fearsome as some of the fiends he had encountered in Spira, but the fact that they seemed to come in hoards was unnerving. Jecht tried to distance himself from the other three only slightly, so that he had more room to swing around his great sword. It certainly wasn't going to to him any good if he was surrounded.

He didn't quite take notice to Lenne's dance until the creatures were affected by it, and smirked happily as they lost some footing and he gained the edge on them. "Say, that's not half bad!" he encouraged the girl. Her classification in battle must have been something like Yuna had explained to him that time -- a Songmissus was it?

"This's no good!" Jecht bellowed to the three of them, "We gotta gain more ground on 'em!" Just as another Heartless met its end, he took the opportunity to turn back and look at Lenne head-on. "You got any tricks up yer sleeve that kin put these suckers to sleep, missy!?"

Unfortunately, as he did this, he didn't notice the two Heartless launching themselves into the air in an attempt to take him down while his back was turned...

Lenne missed a couple steps when Jecht called out to her, her concentration momentarily broken just long enough to see clearly what was going on around her. "Yes!... Oh, look out behind you!" she called, probably belatedly, and made a valiant attempt to cast a particularly agitated THUNDER on one of the heartless intent on attacking Jecht from behind. To her surprise, it struck, causing the creature to dissipate back into the shadows, and not only that, but appearing to stun its companion, if only for a moment, leaving Jecht time to finish it off if his reflexes were as quick as they appeared.

She began a new dance as they advanced further into the house, her feet finding the rhythm almost immediately, a pleased smile tugging up the corners of her mouth. It was a little more powerful than the last, and she was hoping that these strange heartless where not immune to it. The name always made her giggle a bit, The Sleepy Shuffle, but when effective, she always had the last laugh.

Braska nodded, eying the exit at the far end of the room. They just had to get there. He saw his chance as soon as the Heartless fell asleep, and Braska quickly fired off a few spells into the thick of the sleeping Heartless in order to clear a way for them to reach the exit. The High Summoner started forward, pausing in mid-step as he heard the sounds of a struggle in the distance and quickly recognized one of the voices from the message board as Hades. Braska tightened his grip on his staff, his knuckles turning white as he ran for the next room.

He wasn't thinking clearly at the moment. All he knew then was that Yuna was close by and Hades was trying to escape with her. He had said he would help her and he had no intentions of letting the god get away with his daughter. Not again.

Auron turned as the Thunder spell was called out, his sword held up, the guardian ready to strike. As soon as he noticed the threat had been taken care of, he lowered the katana again, setting it on his shoulder as he scanned the room. The woman's dance seemed to have put most of the Heartless in the room to sleep. Good. They would be able to proceed now.

He took a step forward after Braska cleared a path, ready to take the lead into the next room when the High Summoner blew past him. Auron scowled, silently cursing Braska's impulsive act. The man was not a fighter, not meant for the front lines. Charging in like that alone would only get him injured. "Jecht, get ahead of him!" he ordered. Jecht was faster than he was. He had a better chance, with Braska as far ahead as he was already. He turned to Lenne next. "Stay close."

And on that note, he gave chase to his friend.

"Huh??" Jecht turned around, just in time to see one of the two heartless meet its maker, with a helping hand of magic. Thanks to Lenne having stunned the second as well, he was able to draw his fist back in time to launch it into the creature's face, as it fell to the ground. "Yeah, I'd like to see you try that again!!" he taunted, kicking the thing as it lay on the ground.

He turned again, just in time to see Braska darting off ahead. At Auron's suggestion, he burst into a full-out sprint. He couldn't blame the summoner, if it had been him, he would have done the exact same thing. Surprised? Yes. It was out of character for Braska to act impulsively, but with Yuna involved, it was with good reason.

"I've got him covered!" he hollered, racing forward to the next room. Thanks to his athleticism, it wasn't going to be that hard to catch up, anyway... “Hey, hold your horses, hot shot!” he called as he approached.

Lenne sprinted after the three men, more than a little unnerved that she almost had trouble keeping up. From what she'd gathered just from observance, this was very personal to them. That kind of adrenaline could give you all sorts of wings. But it could also hinder you exactly when it counts. So she pushed herself to keep up, dancing needing to be forgotten for now if she was going to keep an eye on them. Hopefully the sleep would hold for a few more moments without her. Who knew what they would find through the next rooms?
