Time to rescue the Princess, er, summoner! (Active, Open)

Who: Harry Dresden, Belle, Hades, Yuna, anyone looking to save the latter from the former.
What: The citizens of Paixao gather to save one of their own from the God of Death
Where: Starts at Yuuko's shop, then makes its way over to Hades' hideout
When: The night Belle and Harry found Hades hideout
Warnings: Probably violence, will update as needed
Notes: Okay, this is one of those pesky large scale logs, so everyone try and move fast (says the hypocrite) especially in the beginning. I figure we get everyone to tag in at Yuuko's shop, Harry and Belle will outline the location and plan, and then everyone split up into teams and make their way to the house. From there, things can hit the fan.

It had taken some time for Harry and Belle to get back to Yuuko's shop, having taken a different path and used some magical and mundane trickery to hopefully keep them from being followed. With any luck, by now people would have started to arrive.

Belle had kept Harry up to date on the responses on the message board, and he'd taken the time to try and sketch out a rough plan. It was far from perfect, but they couldn't leave Yuna imprisoned any longer than they had to, so for now it would have to do. With any luck, the others would have some suggestions as well.

Turning the street, he saw the familiar wall of Yuuko's shop, and turning to Belle grinned and said, "Well, I hope we have enough time to get the party set up before the guests arrive.

Tanaka had more or less been expecting the strange creatures; sure, he had never seen the likes of them before, but it wasn't all that different from the things outside of the Organization's lair. When they came out, he was ready. "Osu! Let's do it!"

The stranger was the only fighter in the group, and at the moment that was what they needed. Tanaka heeded her warning to step back, but focused his routine on powering her end of the battle; if she let any of the shadows through, he and Miss Belle would likely be in trouble.

The good news was that this individual was probably capable of handling the task without his help. It would make for an easy first round, at the least.

Belle stumbled back as NiGHTS swooped past, hand hovering over her mouth in a silent gasp of surprise. She didn't see the enemy at first, distracted by the flashy and magical dream being as she was, but she was forced to notice when one innocuous shadow by the door suddenly had glowing yellow eyes. She just barely dodged in time as sharp claws formed from the darkness to slash at her bare ankles. Rolling to the ground in an inelegant heap, she managed to stand up again...only to find herself inside the house, surrounded by even more darkness.

"Help!" she cried desperately, her panicked eyes searching for some kind of weapon, anything to keep the shadow creatures at bay. Propped up against the wall was a long neglected broom. Belle snatched it up even as more Heartless came out of the shadows. She swung the broom wildly, sometimes smacking a Heartless away but mostly missing the wily creatures. They began to close in...

No! NiGHTS silently cursed her carelessness, spinning around fast and dashing for the group of Heartless that began to close in on Belle. The Nightmaren looped around a group of the odd shadows to eradicate them, not bothering to speak at the moment except to shout the occasional warning. She didn't know what was going on, but somehow she felt more powerful, faster than usual, and she focused her attacks on getting rid of the shadows nearest to her group.

There were so many that it would take awhile to get them all, but NiGHTS kept herself calm and - for once - patient. She could handle this, she knew it. She had taken care of this and far worse - but what about the others? NiGHTS was used to the help and hinderance Visitors could bring, but she doubted that Belle, at least, could outrun the Heartless if needed. Maybe she'd be surprised, but in the meantime, it was better to be safe than sorry.

Needless to say, Tanaka hadn't been expecting the unfortunate turn for the worse when Belle found herself in the midst of the dark creatures. He should have been taking better care to make sure she was getting protected, but--

There was a slight theme here. No point in panicking right now about it, only to make an effort to fix it. His first instinct was to stretch himself to try and support Belle as well, but logic butted in: he had already proven himself to be out of his comfort zone in a situation much like this. Pushing himself more than necessary could cause a mess.

Tanaka gritted his teeth, and pushed the dance on. "Huwaa!" His target was already taking care of things quite effectively. Belle would come out of this fine.

Soon, the tide of darkness seemed to ebb thanks to NiGHTS efforts, boosted as they were by Tanaka's support. Clinging to the broom as if it were a protective talisman, Belle sunk to her knees, visibly shaken. The remaining Heartless were focused entirely on the Nightmaren now, having concluded she was the most immediate threat.

Belle glanced at Tanaka, smiling reassuringly at him when their eyes briefly met. She then watched NiGHTS with awe and relief...and some small amount of self-loathing, far in the back of her head.

NiGHTS whirled around as fast as she could, in order to better get this done quickly. A girl was in trouble, after all - and NiGHTS was actually beginning to worry about Yuna a little, although she didn't show it. She simply whirled around gracefully, focusing on getting rid of the Heartless that remained. It shouldn't take too much longer; NiGHTS was moving faster and harder than she usually did, thanks to Tanaka. Still, it wouldn't do to be overconfident in a situation like this.

At last, there weren't too many of them, thanks to NiGHTS' Paralooping being able to take care of several of them at once. NiGHTS looked back at Belle and Tanaka. "Come on!" she called, still ready to attack if need be.

In the moment that Tanaka met Belle's eyes, he managed a nod of recognition back. Had he had the moment to spare, he would have tried to return a faint smile, but as things were he was busy focusing on determination. He could see Belle's spirit wasn't as bright as it could be, but as things were, it would have to be left alone right now.

"Osu!" Tanaka confirmed to NiGHTS. "We need to press ahead while we can. Shadows have a way of multiplying, who knows when more might arrive."

Belle nodded, forcing herself out of her quiet shock and followed NiGHTS, still holding on to the broom. "I hope the others are alright," she called, slippered feet whispering on the floor as she struggled to keep up with her speedy and supernatural companion.

NiGHTS settled behind the wall for a bit to allow the others to catch up. In the next room, she knew, Hades and Yuna were... well, it sounded a bit like bickering. Sinister bickering, at least on Hades' end, but there it was. NiGHTS grinned at Belle and held out her hand. "Well," she asked, giving a playful wink, "shall we? If you Dualize with me, you'll be a lot safer. I've heard that Hades has quite the temper."

Only a little further, and they would be fighting Hades for Yuna's freedom. NiGHTS' excitement grew - along with the grin on her face. "Besides, I've got a surprise for him that I think everyone will like." Everyone but Hades, that is - but since when did NiGHTS ever care about little things like that?

"I'm sure they're all fine," Tanaka assured Belle. He honestly had no doubt; he had seen a number of them in action, and really the other groups seemed much better suited to taking on the creatures in the way than their own team.

The brief moment of rest as they moved forward was a slight relief for Tanaka. Sure, they were running, but that didn't put stress on his life force, now did it. All this fighting-based support was really straining.

Taking a moment to catch his breath as NiGHTS spoke, Tanaka let the words sink in. He paused and made a face. "Dualize?" Miss Belle getting into something he didn't know about certainly didn't sound like a good plan to him.

Belle glanced at Tanaka uncertainly and faced NiGHTS again, nodding. "Alright..." As she reaching out her hand towards the Nightmaren's, something caught her eye. Hades was out of the room!

"NiGHTS...!" she warned quietly, their hands now linked.

The moment Belle joined her hand with NiGHTS, the two beings merged, and it only appeared that NiGHTS was floating there alone. However, those who could see beyond that would be able to notice that Belle had, in fact, not disappeared, but an image of her was floating behind the Maren.

"Alright," NiGHTS chuckled, floating into the room where Hades was. It was time.
