Time to rescue the Princess, er, summoner! (Active, Open)
Who: Harry Dresden, Belle, Hades, Yuna, anyone looking to save the latter from the former.
What: The citizens of Paixao gather to save one of their own from the God of Death
Where: Starts at Yuuko's shop, then makes its way over to Hades' hideout
When: The night Belle and Harry found Hades hideout
Warnings: Probably violence, will update as needed
Notes: Okay, this is one of those pesky large scale logs, so everyone try and move fast (says the hypocrite) especially in the beginning. I figure we get everyone to tag in at Yuuko's shop, Harry and Belle will outline the location and plan, and then everyone split up into teams and make their way to the house. From there, things can hit the fan.
It had taken some time for Harry and Belle to get back to Yuuko's shop, having taken a different path and used some magical and mundane trickery to hopefully keep them from being followed. With any luck, by now people would have started to arrive.
Belle had kept Harry up to date on the responses on the message board, and he'd taken the time to try and sketch out a rough plan. It was far from perfect, but they couldn't leave Yuna imprisoned any longer than they had to, so for now it would have to do. With any luck, the others would have some suggestions as well.
Turning the street, he saw the familiar wall of Yuuko's shop, and turning to Belle grinned and said, "Well, I hope we have enough time to get the party set up before the guests arrive.

Then came the sound of something scurrying across the floor. The former guardian turned and saw nothing at first, but soon noticed the shadows moving across the floor, the Heartless's yellow eyes glowing brightly against their shapes.
"They come!" One leaped from the floor to strike, only to be struck down. It wasn't long before more rose from the shadows on the floor and the Shadows charged.

He didn't notice the creeping shadows; it was a good thing Auron was there. Whatever the blitzer lacked in battle (or when it came to his attention span) the fallen monk seemed to make up for it. It was only on his friend's warning call that Jecht was able to swing his blade over and downwards, managing to strike the side of one of the creatures -- but not incapacitating it completely. Damn, they were quick. He could be quick, too.
A turn of his weapon saw to the end of the fiend, as Jecht's sword now stuck into the ground. Struggling slightly to see to its release from the floor, he grunted. As he used his foot for leverage, he managed to pull the sword free, stumbling backwards and turning on his heel to jab at another one. "What the hell are these thin's??" he bellowed.

When Auron called out, her stance changed, suddenly on edge, unsure of what to expect, but prepared. She'd never seen anything quite like the heartless before, and couldn't think of anything else to call them, so she called it like she saw it, and dubbed them shadows, right out of her childhood nightmares.
Auron's strength and Jecht's energy gave her confidence, despite the growing darkness around them from the fiends. She began to dance. Sure, she could have summoned an aeon, but the fight was only just beginning, and summoning took a lot out of her. And considering how long it had been since she tried, well... she was going to wait until it was truly necessary. Until then...
She danced. It felt ridiculous at first, but she forced herself not to dwell on that and to focus on the steps. She stumbled more than once at the beginning, but after a few more moments, she didn't hardly have to think about it. It was truly a simple dance, one of the first she had learned. The Darkness Dance. Somehow, it felt appropriate. Let's see how the shadows enjoyed being blind.

He turned, hearing a noise behind him, and brought his staff around. The Shadow was knocked away and soon dispatched with a quick Fira. A few more of the creatures fell to another round of spells before Braska turned his attention back to the others again. He caught a glimpse of the woman dancing of all things, and wasn't sure what to make of it. It didn't look like a sending dance (which wouldn't have made much sense either, as there wasn't anyone to send in here--or there was, but he doubted the woman knew of that), but as he looked back at the wave of Heartless, he quickly noticed that there was something different about them. They were moving strangely, missing most of their attacks, and whereas before the yellow eyes stuck out like stars in the night, there were no such points of light to be seen.
The realization came quickly. Blind... If it was caused by what he thought it was, then that woman's dance was most certainly something to be commended.

It didn't take him long to notice the effects of Lenne's dance, though he hadn't noticed the dance itself. The Shadows' strikes became erratic and easier to avoid, and soon after he saw a familiar, inky cloud hovering over their eyes. Auron swung his sword to the side in a wide arc, killing a few more of the creatures, all the while, pushing forward to the next room.

He didn't quite take notice to Lenne's dance until the creatures were affected by it, and smirked happily as they lost some footing and he gained the edge on them. "Say, that's not half bad!" he encouraged the girl. Her classification in battle must have been something like Yuna had explained to him that time -- a Songmissus was it?
"This's no good!" Jecht bellowed to the three of them, "We gotta gain more ground on 'em!" Just as another Heartless met its end, he took the opportunity to turn back and look at Lenne head-on. "You got any tricks up yer sleeve that kin put these suckers to sleep, missy!?"
Unfortunately, as he did this, he didn't notice the two Heartless launching themselves into the air in an attempt to take him down while his back was turned...

She began a new dance as they advanced further into the house, her feet finding the rhythm almost immediately, a pleased smile tugging up the corners of her mouth. It was a little more powerful than the last, and she was hoping that these strange heartless where not immune to it. The name always made her giggle a bit, The Sleepy Shuffle, but when effective, she always had the last laugh.

He wasn't thinking clearly at the moment. All he knew then was that Yuna was close by and Hades was trying to escape with her. He had said he would help her and he had no intentions of letting the god get away with his daughter. Not again.

He took a step forward after Braska cleared a path, ready to take the lead into the next room when the High Summoner blew past him. Auron scowled, silently cursing Braska's impulsive act. The man was not a fighter, not meant for the front lines. Charging in like that alone would only get him injured. "Jecht, get ahead of him!" he ordered. Jecht was faster than he was. He had a better chance, with Braska as far ahead as he was already. He turned to Lenne next. "Stay close."
And on that note, he gave chase to his friend.

He turned again, just in time to see Braska darting off ahead. At Auron's suggestion, he burst into a full-out sprint. He couldn't blame the summoner, if it had been him, he would have done the exact same thing. Surprised? Yes. It was out of character for Braska to act impulsively, but with Yuna involved, it was with good reason.
"I've got him covered!" he hollered, racing forward to the next room. Thanks to his athleticism, it wasn't going to be that hard to catch up, anyway... “Hey, hold your horses, hot shot!” he called as he approached.
