If you asked Cid, it was about damned time that someone else showed up. Or well. Someone who wasn't ShinRa, or that weirdly young Cloud Zack had hauled into that one meeting. Even if it was the damned spook of the bunch.

Still, better a spook than no one, and he had been missing the rest of them lately. Hell, maybe it would even help make up for the lack of a sky, or any of his ships. But before that, there were a few things to grill Vince on. This 'Omega' thing for one. And possibly also this army thing.

But first he had to wait for him to show up...

Trust was something that would need to be earned, in Vincent's opinion. And, quite frankly, it was a long and trying process with him. Acting was easy and deception was far more common than it needed to be in any world. Sephiroth would need to work his ass off if he had any possible hope of convincing the ex-Turk, as terrible as it sounded. Oh well. Better safe than sorry. "We'll watch him. And stop him again if he decides to pull anything on us again. That's all."

He nodded once, taking in the information and dreading the fact that this was going to be far more difficult than it needed to be. But he would manage. There was always a clue to anyone trying to blend into society that gave their position away. Even if it was the smallest puff of breath, there was always something. "We need to drive them out of hiding somehow. What can you tell me about any of their behaviours?"
