It wasn't often that she could meet the sort of people that she could here. Well, no, scratch that. She'd met a lot of people when she traveled with the Doctor. Paixao just had... the kind she doubted, even with time travel, to ever be possible.

The Doctor might just be a bit jealous that Donna and her were going to have lunch with the Genie, but it seemed like he was busy with some things and while she could have drawn him from it, she had a feeling that it was important. And it wasn't like they couldn't do lunch again!

Rose hoped, anyway.

The pair of woman skirted out of the TARDIS (better and safer with two!) and were now settled in a booth at the restaurant Porfavore's, one of the restaurants that Rose hadn't been to yet, and patiently waited for the arrival of their third.

"This city is just full of surprises," Rose commented idly, then took a sip of her water.

"Never?" asked an exuberant young server, inviting himself into the girls conversation. His bright blue eyes glowed in interest as he drew closer. "Maybe unlikely, but never, well, never! Nothing is impossible! Just because something can't happen today it doesn't mean it can't tomorrow. Man didn’t go to the moon the first day he imagined it, but he did in 1969. Some have even gone beyond." He added with a wink. “Unless you’re one of the people who believe the whole conspiracy. Of course, it’s not my place to argue such things.”

Leaning down he placed his elbows on the table and smiled at the two before bursting into a cloud of blue smoke. Many of the restaurants occupants turned in surprise and were in for an even greater one when the smoke cleared to reveal a familiar face. The genie, however, paid no mind to their stares other than to wave and assure them that he was alright.

“It’s ooookay! The following stunt was performed by supervised professionals but should by no means be attempted at home. No one was injured during this presentation… Shout out to my home girl Clora!”

Seating himself at the table, the djinni took his napkin and carefully placed in on his lap. “I hope I didn’t keep you waiting too long, I couldn’t decide what to wear. Over a thousand and one outfits and none of them gave the look I was going for. And my hair, don’t even get me started with that.”
