Memories, new and old [Active]
Character(s): Naminé, Vyers
Content: Naminé (re?) enters Paixao
Setting: Vanaheim gate
Time: Evening during Hades' party, week two
Warnings: None yet.
Naminé blinked in the as she looked at the domed city. This place was wholly unlike anything she had ever seen, opulent and glittering. Had DiZ sent her here? But no, that was impossible; she had yet to finish repairing Sora’s memories. The girl’s eyes lowered as she remembered the man’s frightening anger. You are a Nobody. You don’t have the right to exist.
But he was wrong, she knew he was; Nobodies were an essential part of a whole, the body and soul left behind when someone lost their heart. At least, that’s how it normally went. Naminé and Roxas, however, had bodies of their own, and seemed to have no lack of heart—though that was perhaps because Sora and Kairi had their hearts again, instead of being lost to the darkness. Naminé held her sketchbook close to her chest, stepping up to the gates almost tremulously. She gave a small smile to the guard who greeted her as she walked inside, laden with pamphlets and a strange electronic device.
Naminé looked curiously at the things she had been given, odd memories of things that never happened tugging at her. This was all so strange; what in the world was going on? Naminé was certain she had never been here… but if that was the case, why did she suddenly have such a strange feeling? How had she gotten here? All in all, this place somehow seemed ominous, although the girl had no way of knowing why.

The demon sighed faintly, rubbing the back of his head as he looked up at the artificial sky. Perhaps he was thinking too much? ...Most likely.
He took his eyes off the painted stars to look at his surroundings. Oh, had he made it to one of the gates so soon? He still wasn't quite used to the city's shrinking. It had just happened all of a sudden. Well, he supposed it was time to find lodgings again. Really, he needed to find somewhere more permanent to stay. If only he could find the right place...
It was as he turned to leave that he noticed the lost-looking child holding the sketchbook. He thought she looked somewhat familiar, though from where he couldn't say. She looked almost like she could be one of the natives, and yet her thoughtful expression (mostly the thoughtful part), told otherwise.
Well... He couldn't very well leave a damsel in distress, could he?
The demon approached her, a gentle smile on his face. "Do you need some help?"

"I am afraid none of us quite know how we have arrived," he replied with a shrug. "It is but a mystery. As for where you are, this is the city of Paixao."
((S-sorry for lateness and shortness))

The girl looked up at Vyers and smiled. "Thank you," she said softly. "My name is Naminé. Who are you?"
no subject
"Vyers, the Dark Adonis at your service," he replied with a deep, sweeping bow and a playful smile on his lips. "And, on that note, how might I be of service? I suppose I could take the time to show you you around if you wish."

"Th-thank you," she managed, ducking her head, her cheeks hot with shy embarrassment. "I would like that."

"Sadly, the beauty of this place tends to lessen the longer one stays."

The blonde blinked up at the man, her eyes slightly wide with confusion. "What do you mean?"
no subject
"These are very dark times. There are three groups of people all fighting one another. There is one group that works for the betterment of the city, but, even so, the conflict leaves a dark cloud hanging above us all." He sighed, putting a hand on his hip, but seemed to cheer up again not long after. "But that doesn't mean we cannot enjoy what we have! And this place does shine so beautifully sometimes."

Maybe Roxas was in the city somewhere. She had to tell him the truth, after all, before Sora woke up.

He didn't have all the information, sadly (something he would be sure to change soon enough), but he could tell her what he could. One should always be armed with knowledge, especially in such dangerous territory.
