The Force of Change [active]

Character(s): Reno, Angeal, and anyone else who wants to drop by
Content: A much needed crash-course in recent events
Setting: Actua Are at Joutenheim [N9]
Time: Shortly after this thread.
Warnings: None!

Truth be told, Reno wasn't precisely amused to find more SOLDIERs showing up on the metaphorical doorstep. Zack he could deal with just fine, given that they'd been something approximating friends when he'd been alive. Sephiroth was a bother but at the least not currently trying to destroy the world. But the potential was there all the same. Hell, for all he knew it could be an elaborate trick.

Not that it was particularly likely but it was his job to be suspicious (that and he'd never really liked Sephiroth much, after Nibelheim). But all that aside, he was still going to make good on his offer to tell Angeal what had happened since his death. It ought to be interesting seeing just how he reacted to some of it.

Of course, he hadn't left without a weapon all the same, EMR nestled snugly in his pocket as he headed off for where Angeal was staying. Or rather, the nearest train station, since it was more than a bit of a walk, otherwise.

"This isn't dependency. It's comradeship. And there's nothing wrong with wanting to watch your back. Or have you watch mine." Zack was starting to get frustrated. He knew Angeal could be stubborn and difficult, especially when he'd made his mind up about something, and most especially when he made his mind up about what was good for others. (Too bad he was wrong some of the time.) At least this time, Genesis wasn't around to stir the pot.

"You bet your ass we're not done here, Angeal. But fine. Leave." It wasn't like Angeal had many places to hide. "But we're gonna have this conversation sooner or later. You got that? You're not dilly-dallying out of this." And preferably at that time, they wouldn't have an audience for their argument. As it was, they were giving Reno enough fuel.

Zack turned, showing Angeal his profile as he waited for the man to do what he did best lately- leave Zack behind. Their reunion certainly hadn't gone the way he'd always thought it would but then, should he expect otherwise?
