Save the younglings! [open, active]

Characters: Edward Elric, Alexander, Harry Dresden, Squall Leonhart, Timon, Princess Tutu, Simba
Content: We go to knock over a building and save babies!
Setting: Central train station (J6) and City Hall (I6)
Time: Afternoon, I guess
Warnings: There is a high potential for swearing and property damage in this thread.

At the train, Ed stole a pen and picked up a miscellaneous brochure from a rack before boarding a train to the center of the city, Alexander in tow. He had decided that he was not confident enough with his abilities to attempt drawing on his remaining hand while holding the pen in his mouth, much less on a moving train, and so he instead drew on the brochure. He put the drawing and the pen into his pocket as he exited the train and went outside to wait near the front of the station, watching for any of the people he’d talked to over the journals. It was unlikely that they would be able to spot him in the crowd since, aside from the color of his eyes, he blended in flawlessly with the local population.

Timon was surprised by the short amount of time it took him to reach the station. Until now, he had never really noticed the change in distance. Sure, people had mentioned it, but as far as he saw it, it was simply because they had grown accustom to the city. When one walked the same path everyday for at least a year, the distance seemed much shorter compared to one taking the exact same path for the first time… Or something like that. There was probably a better way of putting it, but he had yet to read enough fortune cookies to know.

Yawning, the little rodent rubbed his tired eyes and observed the crowd for a moment. There was no way he could pick Edward out by eye, not unless he was wearing his bright red coat. However, on this particular day it appeared he had gone without it. How predictable.

Sniffing the air in search of the alchemists scent, he was pleased to find it present, making the only difficult task actually following it. He weaved himself through the quickly moving feet of the citizens, pausing every now and then to avoid colliding into citizen’s leg. When he finally spotted an opening, he dove for it, landing right at Alexander’s feet.

The meerkat stared at the large white paws before him before slowly looking up at the canine. “I know you think girls like a guy with little hair, but don’t you think you’re over doing it, Ed?”
