Get Down, Baby! [active/open]

Character(s):  Akutare and any other party-goers
Content:  To keep himself entertained, the Dark Hero decided to throw a party.
Setting:  The Wild Ginger
Time:  Late Afternoon going on into the night
Warnings: None as of yet... but I'd suggest you not be the last one out of there.

[Note: Since there's probably going to be a bunch of people in this post, I figure it'd be best to break it up into mini-threads.  Just make your post in here and others will reply to it or make a completely different post if your character is gathered somewhere else.  Feel free to thread hop in between and have fun~!]

While he waited for everyone to arrive, Akutare lounged in one of the chairs, fiddling with his journal and pointedly ignoring the disapproving looks from the man nearby.  It had taken the demon a long time to convince the owner of the establishment to allow him to throw this party (especially since it was so sudden), but he'd managed to get it done, promising the owner that everything would be paid for along with a bonus for all of the people who happened to be working that night.

Now that he thought on it, it had actually been a lot easier than Akutare had expected.  Not that he was complaining.  He probably just happened to get a particularly gullible and greedy group of suckers on his hands.  All the better for him!  Still, he wondered just what kind of currency they had in this place, anyway.  Everything seemed shiny enough that they probably had something that glowed or something like that.  Maybe.  He guessed he should have asked something like that when he just came in.  Oh well, he'd manage somehow.

"Aaaaand posted!" he noted to himself, pressing the button and waiting for the responses and people to roll on in.  Haha, this was an awesome idea.

Adell grew silent as he listened carefully and although the expression on his face clearly showed confusion, it was a lot calmer now. "I see..." He muttered to himself once she had finished her explanation. It all made sense that way and somehow he felt relieved. It really had been the Fake Zenon who had put the curse on his village.

Before he spoke again, Adell put a hand on her shoulder comfortingly. "Thank you for telling me." Surely it must have been hard on her.

She barely heard his mutter, only jerking her head up when she felt his hand on her shoulder. She... hadn't expected that. Nor the words that followed.

"Thank yo...? --You mean you're not... ...not..." Words failing her as she tried to figure out exactly what she was worried he'd be. Angry? No, she hadn't thought that really. Disappointed? No... that didn't seem right either. She remained silent as she wrestled with something to fill in.

Finally she forced something from her mouth, "Not... going to leave me?"

Adell patiently waited for Rozalin to sort her words out and when they finally came he simply raised an eyebrow. "Of course not, why would I do that?" The expression on his face might have been an indignant one if it wasn't for the warm smile on his face.

"You're still Rozalin, aren't you?" He said as he moved his hand from her shoulder to give her a pat on the head. It was more of a statement than a question, really. She might have been Overlord Zenon in her past life but to him she would always be Rozalin.

His smile quickly worked to ease her worries. They'd all been for nothing it seemed. She felt a little foolish in hindsight, but she was glad she'd told him in the end.

"...Yes... Yes, I am..." she replied softly, a small smile appearing on her lips. She then reached up, touching Adell's arm to halt the patting. Her expression happy once more, and far less troubled, although vague annoyance was there instead, but there was that smile there too. "You may stop that now. I'm not a dog."

"Then that's enough." Adell grinned in return. He quickly retracted his hand with a muttered apology at her touch, as not to offend her any further, though he hadn't meant for the gesture to be condescending like that. Perhaps it was one gesture better left for Hanako and Taro.

At least he had managed to make her smile again, he was glad about that. He also felt a whole lot more relaxed himself now that he knew what the previous day had been all about and most riddles from back home had been solved. Finally, he could have some peace of mind.

Rozalin seemed more relaxed too. It was a weight lifted off her shoulders. Glancing back down at her plate, she remembered only then she'd finished, thus glanced back to Adell. "What shall we do now?" she inquired.

They'd already stayed at the party perhaps longer than they'd planned, although Akutare had yet to come bother them again. It wasn't so bad, really, she supposed.

Adell considered the question for a moment though there really was nothing in particular he could come up with in the end. "Is there anything you wanted to do here?" he asked eventually.

The party certainly hadn't been bad so far now that Akutare seemed to leave them alone. He wouldn't mind staying a while longer if it stayed that way.

"...Not... really," she replied a little awkwardly, after a moment of thought. She couldn't really say there was. They'd stayed for the food, and they'd done that, so it seemed they could be on their way. Not that they had any where particularly to be.

Being trapped here was really quite annoying.

"I suppose we could just... relax here a little longer," Rozalin added.

Adell nodded, staying here didn't sound too bad. After everything that had happened a bit of relaxing was very welcome. Though of course he'd much rather do that at home but it couldn't be helped. They might as well make the best of it while they were trapped here.

Glancing back to the dance floor, perhaps being unconsciously on the look out for Akutare, an idea struck him and he turned back to the princess on his side.

"We could dance," he suggested. Just sitting still wasn't quite his thing and what he found most relaxing was training but he doubted that suggestion would go over well. So he just went with the next thing that came to mind.

Those were three words Rozalin hadn't expected to hear. She stared at Adell like he'd grown horns. "...You can dance?" she finally uttered, surprised by his suggestion. She hadn't never ever have thought the Battle Maniac would be able to dance.

Of course, she had trained in the popular dances. It was an important thing for one of royalty to know. But Adell dancing? That was a little hard to picture.
