Content: Hojo is nefarious. Also Maya is easy to scare.
Setting: Inside what is now Hojo's lab.

Hojo sighed once the trio of strangers disappeared, quickly becoming weary of all this teleportation. If he understood HOW it worked it would be one thing; the question of why it worked could wait, but being so completely in the dark was extremely frustrating.

In any case, he had a lab to salvage and a couple of people to deal with. Given the nature of people to not stay put unless they were made to, he decided to deal with them first. The girl... the girl he wasn't sure what to do with, considering she was supposed to be Ansem's captive, not his. Still, he was sure he could figure out some use for her.

"Cloud," he said then, turning to face the blond man with a slight smirk. "You remember our agreement, yes?"

Cloud nodded. "Of course I remember." Though Hojo hadn't really done anything to help him out. That had been mainly Marluxia. Maybe it was a mistake to not go with him to the offered comfort of the hotel. Anyhow, he wasn't worried. He was bound to see Marluxia again to pay up the debt.

And it wouldn't do to abandon Hojo now. They did have an agreement. And how bad could a simple experiment really be, now that Ansem was gone? Besides, if it wasn't Cloud, it would be either the girl left in the room or someone else less willing.

"I'm ready whenever you are, Hojo." And he was committed like that.
