Ones Lust For Knowledge [Completed]
Characters: Timon and Lust
Content: Simply sharing some knowledge over a midnight snack.
Location: Cafe Ersesa [H4]
Time: Night
Warnings: None at the moment
Timon was never big on straying from his friends these days, especially at night. The last time he had done so, a calamity ever so great had occurred, teaching the meerkat a lesson he would not forget. However, once again, he found himself following the exact same path he had before.
Having skillfully snuck from both Vyers and Pumbaa during their slumber, he quickly made haste toward one of the ever so popular Cafe Ersesat's. He imagined things to go well, especially for the fact that Luna, the woman he was meeting, by no means appeared linked to The Organization. She was meeting him inside, was she not? The area was well lit, there were plenty of people present, and she was completely new to the city. The threat by her seemed little. Besides, she was very polite and pleasant to speak with over the journals. What could possibly go wrong? They were simply exchanging information.
Which! The meerkat was pleased to be sharing in a more appropriate manner than over the journals. Since Illidan had begun complaining over the message board, he decided spreading the message personally would be much less dangerous and a lot less public. Organization Thirteen would know less of what he, as well as others, new this way too. This would keep them guessing... Hopefully. The sooner they could take down the Organization, the sooner he could get out of this. All this work and no play was really getting to him. He deserved a vacation. Two, at least. Not just some short, dinky, little vacation either. A long, peaceful, and relaxing one.
Sighing happily at the thought of simply resting in a cozy little hammok by a rippling stream, a thousand miles from any threat such as the Organization or 'Sin', he found himself about to walk into a wall. Snapping alert, which he should have been the entire time to avoid being followed, he came to a halt before the wall made him.
"Whew! That was close. I outta start payin' closer attention to where I'm-" Suddenly the cafe's door swung open, smacking the little rodent in the face. "... Going."
Peeling himself from the door, he rubbed his face before kicking the door angrily. But as anyone could guess, that did not seem to go over all that well. He yelped, immediately grabbing his foot while hopping about on the other.
"So that's the way it's gunna be, hu?" the redhead mumbled to himself, looking up at the overwhelming structure. "-Eh?" It was then he noticed high up the door handle was. Usually, someone of the tall, human-like verioty accompanied him, opening the door for him. Because of this, he had forgotten just how difficult it was for someone of his stature to enter these buildings. Mumbling once again, he began to jump up in hopes of reaching the handle.
First things first, when he was mayor, he would make all buildings install meerkat friendly doors.

But really, nothing could compare to a face-to-face conversation, where she could watch for hints of more to be told and hope for slip-ups.
"Sounds dangerous," she agreed, making note to go find some of these creatures, and perhaps examine the source. "Is either the Organization or the Resistance doing anything publicly? It seems like it would be a good source of good publicity."
Perhaps she could plant the idea in Timon's head; if he had a connection to the Resistance, he might mention it.

"The Organizations kept pretty quiet lately. They haven't done anything about the monsters, they don't really have any reason to. They're just hiding away like the measly little cowards they are." he paused, biting his lip at the unsettling thought of the Organization working with 'Sin' somehow. But in doing so, he remembered at least one member who had kept themselves anything but hidden. "Well, all besides Larxene." he added. "She must have missed the memo 'bout goin' underground with the rest of the organization."
"As for the Resistance, I haven't got a clue. It's just been random groups goin' after Sin. Some people even going by themselves. Though I don't see why they shouldn't do somethin' about Sin. They're just as big a threat to the city as the Organization."
