Forget the Room Service [ACTIVE/OPEN]
Character(s): Pikachu, Nina Tucker and Alexander, Demyx, anyone else
Content: A very bored Pikachu decides to skip room service for once and go to the hotel restaurant. Shortly after he gains a few dinner guests.
Setting: Haja o Que Houver restaurant
Time: Evening
Warnings: Whuh-oh, violence possible.
Despite the troubles in the city, the Pikachu was very, very bored. This could be entirely put down to the fact that, with his duty to keep Ivan's Djinn safe, he hadn't left Haja o Que Houver since coming there with his charge in tow. The Pokémon had been passing the time seeing to the Djinn's care and poking around the very interesting goings-on on the network - and he had made sure to keep windows and doors closed so the less-than-sapient Djinn didn't have opportunity to run off.
This work had its up moments - the Djinn for all its lack of brains was at times fun to watch and interact with - but all told, the Pikachu was bored out of his small skull. That, and he had run out of shiny things to exchange for room service. Thus, he'd had to leave the Djinn locked up in his room to go break off another branch (and this had only been accomplished through the clever use of furniture - humans were such large creatures!), and as he returned to the hotel, dragging a shimmering branch twice as long as himself, he saw the ever-busy restaurant.
The Djinn'll be okay for another couple of hours or so, right? Right. Right!
And so, shortly after, the Pikachu was sitting on a table, people-watching as he contentedly gnawed away at a very nice fruit platter.

Following her nose--or Alexander's, really--she soon found herself in the restaurant of the Haja o Que Houver. Collecting the food she and her wanted and shoving a handful of shiny leaves at the person who was collecting them, she looked about for somewhere to sit. The odd yellow mouse immediately caught her attention, and she ran over, almost spilling her food.
"Hi!" she chirped as Alexander tilted his head at the creature and sniffed uncertainly.

Plopping back down on his haunches and gesturing at the seat across from him with grapes in hand, he continued. "Go on, have a seat! They're, er - they're too low-low for me, but maybe you can sit in one proper!" Looking at Alexander, he gestured to another chair, the very one the dog and Nina were presently in front of. "And you could sit here!"

"I'm Nina!" she said, not certain if she had introduced herself in the journals. "And that's Alexander!"

Sure, it was kind of boring and half the reason he was down here, but it was still an accomplishment and part of his assignment.

Alexander, meanwhile, was chewing away at the hot dogs, watching Pikachu curiously. He had never seen a--a mouse?--quite like him.

Getting to her question, he scratched an ear with a hindfoot before answering. "Well, they're, um, they're little creatures, 'bout the same size as me. Oh, here!" He turned and leapt down to his chair, staying there for a moment and messing with something before jumping back to the table with his open journal. "They look like this!" he declared.
[OOC: He would be showing her this (http://sparkplasma.livejournal.com/2813.html#cutid1) picture.]

He'd just have to get it over with.
Finding Nina wasn't hard; the restaurant at Haja O wasn't terribly crowded and she and her humungous dog sorta stood out. Along with the little yellow thing she was talking to at their table - he wasn't really sure what that was. Maybe she just attracted forest creatures like that.
Anyway, Pikachu looked harmless enough that Demyx didn't feel at all apprehensive about approaching the table in full Organization blacks, the ominous uniform (hopefully) offset by the friendly smile on his face. "Hey, Nina!" he greeted her, waving. "What's up?"

And then, hearing her name, she turned. It took her a moment to recognize the face, but when she did, she grinned even wider. "Hi! We're having food! Do you want some?"
She held out a cookie.
Alexander stiffened, tilting his head at Demyx and taking him in. And then he started growling. The human didn't smell right--didn't smell human.

The Pikachu jumped over his food, and with another hop was right beside Nina, on all fours with his tail high as if he were trying to make himself look bigger. He, too, was growling, and though it was less impressive than Alexander's, it was just as aggressive; the sparks playing across his cheeks helped make up for his high-pitched voice.
"Bad! You got bad clothes! Bad smell! Go 'way or I'll zap ya!" the little Pokémon snarled before returning to his growling.

Alexander stuck close to Nina, keeping himself between her and Demyx. Pikachu's wariness only served to increase Alexander's, but he was not attacking outright, if only because Nina did not want him to.
"Alexander, he says you don't smell right," Nina said by way of explanation.

In any case, after a brief moment of what looked like confusion, the Pikachu went back to growling, stomping a forefoot in what was at least intended to be a menacing fashion. He wasn't quite ready to attack yet either, deciding to give the strange-smelling and ominously-dressed person time to explain himself - but he was watching for any movement very carefully.
