It's not over [Open, Active]

Character(s): Kid, anyone nearby
Content: Kid's arrival in Paixao
Setting: Joutenheim gate
Time: Early afternoon
Warnings: None, yet.

Kid sat up dizzily and shook her head. Was being stabbed all a... wait. This place seemed too full of light to be one of her dreams (and her wound was gone as though it could never been and Kid always felt the pain of her wounds when dreaming, always); was she dead?! If she was, damned if Kid would cross those pearly gates without dragging the cause of her death with her! The blonde girl stood, brushing off her clothes and defiantly smarting up her hair a bit, and she strode to the gate, where she addressed one of the guards, clearly irritated. "Oi!" she demanded, drawing herself up to her full, if average, height. "What th' hell d'you think yer doin'? M'not dead yet!" Was she?

The guard looked at Kid as though she were insane and shoved a strange electronic device in her hands, nervously greeting her before shoving the thief into the city. Kid sputtered angrily, about to turn around and give the guard a piece of her mind, when she stopped and looked around her.

Well, may as well look around before going to find Death. This place looked interesting, anyway.

Obito considered for a moment pointing out that they didn't all have to be having the same dream, two of them just had to be figments of the third one's imagination, but then, people tended to get annoyed when he clung to a subject like that. The girls seemed fairly pessimistic about their situation as well, which was something Obito had a difficult time relating to, he just wasn't very in tune with worst-case-senarios.

Kid's request struck Obito as rather ironic seeing as her name itself sounded like a 'weird nickname', but he shrugged that off and grinned up at her. "You can call me Obito!" he offered cheerfully, he'd never been one for formalities.

As for Sir Daniel, Obito didn't have the slightest clue what he'd just said. Maybe it was a different language... Or maybe it was just because he didn't seem to have a jaw-bone... It would probably be rude to ask, so Obito attempted simply changing the subject and hoping that the skeleton-man hadn't said something he was meant to respond to.

"Hey! Did they give you guys one of these things?" he asked, pulling his journal out of his pocket and waving it around. "These are so cool! I don't really know how it works yet, but I was looking at it and there's all kinds of stuff in there! And you can talk to people on it and stuff! Have you guys ever seen things like this before? I haven't, except in comics and stuff."
