It's not over [Open, Active]

Character(s): Kid, anyone nearby
Content: Kid's arrival in Paixao
Setting: Joutenheim gate
Time: Early afternoon
Warnings: None, yet.

Kid sat up dizzily and shook her head. Was being stabbed all a... wait. This place seemed too full of light to be one of her dreams (and her wound was gone as though it could never been and Kid always felt the pain of her wounds when dreaming, always); was she dead?! If she was, damned if Kid would cross those pearly gates without dragging the cause of her death with her! The blonde girl stood, brushing off her clothes and defiantly smarting up her hair a bit, and she strode to the gate, where she addressed one of the guards, clearly irritated. "Oi!" she demanded, drawing herself up to her full, if average, height. "What th' hell d'you think yer doin'? M'not dead yet!" Was she?

The guard looked at Kid as though she were insane and shoved a strange electronic device in her hands, nervously greeting her before shoving the thief into the city. Kid sputtered angrily, about to turn around and give the guard a piece of her mind, when she stopped and looked around her.

Well, may as well look around before going to find Death. This place looked interesting, anyway.

Dan inspected his bony hand curiously once the boy had dropped it. He continued to listen to what he had to say though, regardless of the fact he hadn't a set of ears to listen with. Funny that Obito had yet to observe such a thing. Then again, Daniel hadn't either and he had been dead for quite some time. None the less, the boy had the skeleton thinking of things he hadn't the time for before. Zarok had been in primary focus before now. Not to say he wasn't concerned about the evil workings of the madman, but one had much more time think when monsters weren't lunging out in means of attacking every six steps.

Giving a soft sigh, the corpse shook his head. So, it was Uchiha the boy called himself, was it? Unfortunately it was a little more difficult then 'Kid', but Dan would try his best to remember. His belief of Paixao being a dream, however, was one he remained doubtful of. He suspected other forces at play... If it were truly dream, though, that would be extraordinarily nice. There was no arguing about that.

Ah, it seemed as though they had returned to exactly where they had started. Folding his arms as Uchiha excitedly began to question his abilities, he glanced over at Kid. Daniel was nothing compared to the speaker he used to be, not since death. When it was difficult for one to speak, it grew easier to simply listen.

None the less, he trusted Kid to help translate his words if Obito proved to have a difficult time deciphering them. His voice was nothing more than a muffled mumble these days, something that made him even question what he had said when hearing his voice at times.

"Dan is alright." he replied with a nod. His full title was unneeded when it came to addressing him in a simple casual conversation. Dan was a pleasant change from the many things he had been called lately anyway. Most had be quite offensive, mocking his position as the deceased, but he tried to think little of them.

"I can talk... Sort of. I am a real man and not a puppet. A spell was put on me by an evil sorcerer that brought me back from the dead. I guess that makes magic is behind everything."
