She stood beside Pein, waiting. It wouldn't be long before the others assembled, and then things could begin moving. That there were a fair number of Akatsuki here was a blessing. It would make operations far easier.

That they had come to some level of agreement with the organization in charge of Paixao was a blessing as well. Now it was just a matter of how to use this to their advantage, and how to best checkmate this world.

"I trust that, between you and Zetsu, Sasori, you will find out anything and everything that can be found out about that blood, and by proxy, the citizens of this city." He had no doubts about their abilities. No, never a doubt.

Pein listened carefully to the things being said, and the meaning behind the words. Given the circumstances, Hidan's annoyance was regretfully understandable, though Pein would never admit to such. "We have been growing increasingly short-handed, Hidan. I'm sure even you can appreciate that it takes time to recall members. You would do well to remember that we do not operate on your time." Of course, there had been vague intentions of getting Hidan out... eventually. Just not right now.

"You will continue to maintain your contact, then, Hidan," he stated. "Though do bear in mind that you will be expected to report."
