Moses and the Burning Bush. [Closed]
Character(s): Axel, Kadaj.
Content: Axel plans on trying to capture a subject for his private endevours.
Setting: Ouside the "Fortess of Darkness".
Time: Late Tuesday night.
Warnings: None yet.
Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian, and he led the flock to the far side of the desert and came to Horeb, the mountain of God. There The Angel of the Lord appeared to him in flames of fire from within a bush. Moses saw that though the bush was on fire it did not burn up. So Moses thought, "I will go over and see this strange sight - why the bush does not burn up.”
It actually hadn’t taken Axel long to find the establishment. While it was a risk to go beyond the borders of the city, it was one he knew he must take; for the good of science, for the good of his own Heart that waited patiently for him a great reach away. He could locate this fortress, but not that, but it would do, because he knew all in all it would become a simple stepping stone on the path leading to his desire.
Axel slunk through the stretches of grassy field beyond the Muspelheim gates. It was a dry, airy grassland, but the night was frigid and bitter, and it was very uncomfortable for a creature of his composure – his very being was satiated upon a single flame burning within him. Slowly, his black-coated form moved through the plains, the vague, chilled wind brushing along his clothing and hair.
He came upon the fortress and stopped a ways away, but close enough for him to observe quietly. Crouching down under the brush, Axel observed the area like a lion sizing up its prey. He felt an odd thump in his chest and tensed—and suddenly, somewhere between him and the house of darkness, a single flame ignited amongst the grasses.

no subject
"I might be," he said evasively, also glancing towards the fortress. He wondered vaguely if his absence had even got noticed. "It has its ups and downs, but then, so does everything else." Such a boring answer, really, but hopefully one that would prompt some kind of response that he could analyze to figure out just why the hell Axel was here. He still didn't really know, and that was getting irritating.
He thought of something and looked sharply back over at him, eyes narrowed. "How did you know I was here, anyway?"
no subject
"That's my little secret," he replied, giving him a slight wink as he finally looked back to him and away from the indeed quite tacky fortress. Tch. Ansem really had lost his touch, hadn't he, Axel thought to himself.
That aside, his good hand slipped back out and upturned itself in the air, as he gestured to him, "I have an offer for you, Kadaj. I can take you somewhere much more interesting and exciting than this place. Ansem won't be around for much longer anyway. And the sex will be better."
Oh, he couldn't wait to see the look on his face.
