Just Passing Through [completed]

Character(s):  Vyers
Content:  The Dark Adonis makes his entrance!
Setting:  Niflheim Gate
Time:  Early evening
Warnings:  Massive amounts of spazzing

A flash of light accompanied his exit from Celestia and his entrance into Paixao--not that he knew that that was what this land was called.  All he knew was that this was certainly not where he was supposed to be.

This place didn't look like any he had seen in the Netherworld or Celestia, and he had seen his fair share of both lands.  It was certainly unique.  No place he had been had ever shone quite like this.  And what was this?  A line?  Lines usually led to some place interesting, especially long ones, like this one seemed to be.  Had he ended up near an attraction of sort?

Well, he certainly wasn't going to stand in line for who knows how long without seeing just what he was waiting for.  Ignoring the displeased mumblings from those in the line, Vyers strolled on past and up to the gate, looking it over curiously.

"Sir?  Sir!" a voice called out, and Vyers turned to see that it was the gatekeeper calling and addressing him.  "Sir, you need to check in before you go inside!"

"Check in?" Vyers asked curiously, wandering over to the gatekeeper's kiosk.

"Yes.  I'll need your name, please."

A name, was it?  That was simple!  "I am Vyers, the Dark Adonis," he stated proudly with a dramatic pose.

The gatekeeper was relatively unimpressed.  He simply wrote down the name he heard and handed over an odd black box and some pamphlets over to the demon, who frowned and moved on.

He leafed through the pamphlets, mainly skimming the contents, and grinned when he read over a certain part.  Stuffing them away for later, Vyers took hold of his journal, posting to the message board and alerting the masses to his presence.

He quickly came to regret doing so.

To normal passerby, it would look as though the demon were having a shouting match with the box, occasionally making odd noises halfway between choking and babble.  There would be periods of normal speech, but it would instantly go back to shouting as soon as the invisible button was pushed.

"I AM THE DARK ADONIS!  THE DARK ADONIS!   NOT MID-BOSS!  NEVER MID-BOSS!" he shrieked.  He seethed for about half a minute before he was set off again.

Screaming in frustration and anger, he threw an arm up into the air, a large sphere of blue energy--about as big as he was--forming above his hand.  At the last second, he decided to throw it at the nearest tree instead of the journal, the poor thing bursting apart into a pile of splinters.

He took a minute to calm down, using deep breaths before returning to the journal, finding interesting information and a beautiful, polite mademoiselle.  He made a note to himself on the journals before moving on.  It was impolite to keep a lady waiting.
