Meetings and Movings [Active]
Character(s): Edward Elric, Pride, the Prinny Squad, and Sasori
Content:The Prinnies meet Pride and all five of them start out on a quest to find Al!
Setting: The Joutenheim Inn
Time: Morning
Warnings: Er . . . maybe language. And some insinuations. XD
Edward was asleep in Pride's bed yet again. He'd taken to sleeping there mostly because he felt bad about leaving him alone at night and the thought of spending the night with Pride and the prinnies was as frightening a thought as meeting Envy again in the form of a giant milk bottle. The blonde was sprawled on the bed as usual, the sheets kicked mostly off of him and his metal hand laying across the bared part of his stomach between his boxers and an old t-shirt, quietly snoring away.

He stared just briefly before standing; on the step, he was still shorter than Sasori, and his timidity almost made him seem even smaller. The blonde reached with one hand, brushing his fingers like a feather over the black sleeve of his cloak before taking his hand as though it was made of glass; Pride raised it and watched, like he was gleaning the meaning of its owner from it before his own hand fled as gently as it had come.
The barest amount of a step closer had Pride looking up at Sasori, the same hand this time on his cheek, tips of his fingers barely there, almost like sheer velvet.
There wasn't much of a comment to be made; he had expected only a nod or a shake of the head in response, when a response came. A handshake or similar gesture would've been understandable, but this… this was just odd. Sasori allowed it nevertheless. He didn't move, save blinking once and looking down at Pride, with a raised eyebrow and a questioning silence. There were questions to be answered, doubtless, although the chances of those answers coming---until Alphonse or Edward were found---were doubtful, at best.
Pride did just as he had done when he'd first been found by Ed; his other hand rose to match the first, and slowly, his fingers trailed lines down Sasori's face. Forehead, nose, cheeks, lips, chin, and stopped, the touch leaving just as it had come. One last, brief touch, with the flats of his palms to Sasori's cheeks, and his hands finally fell to his sides.
That simple set of motions was all Pride needed, it seemed. He watched Sasori for a brief moment before his feet carried him down to the next step and he simply leaned into the Akatsuki's chest.
The questioning silence broke off in surprise; it was quite a lot of contact, especially coming from a perfect stranger. Now, the puppeteer moved away, though he had a hand on Pride's shoulder, and his expression was neutral enough. "I expect that's a 'yes'." Tone was also neutral, almost amused and still curious. "We'll be looking for Alphonse and Edward; who are you?"
The homunculus looked up at him again, taking comfort even in the hand at his shoulder. At least he wasn't alone anymore, and the questions Sasori asked were easy.
"... Pride," he offered, along with a bare smile that belied he'd even been crying.
"I'm Sasori." In all honesty, he was also unsure of just what strange story he'd gotten into, but returned the smile regardless. He folded his hands, looking around the station and sighing a little; the people they were looking for could be anywhere in the city, by this time. "Do you have any idea where Alphose or Edward might be?"
"Sasori," Pride repeated lowly, glancing as the other did, around the station, as if that would help him answer. But he just looked back up and tried to explain in his broken way. "... Find Alphonse. Bellatrix, Freiderich, Keesling. Pride. Edward. Train... to... cafe."
...well, he hadn't expected more names, or so many, but should he cross any of those just mentioned, just now, he would know who to question. It was something useful, and Pride would be given due credit for his answers and efforts. "Do you know what cafe, or what direction it's in?"
Pride looked around again, as if the answer would pop out at him if he saw it. But nothing did, and he just looked back up at Sasori, the obvious answer in his silence.
