Meetings and Movings [Active]

Character(s): Edward Elric, Pride, the Prinny Squad, and Sasori
Content:The Prinnies meet Pride and all five of them start out on a quest to find Al!
Setting: The Joutenheim Inn
Time: Morning
Warnings: Er . . . maybe language. And some insinuations. XD

Edward was asleep in Pride's bed yet again. He'd taken to sleeping there mostly because he felt bad about leaving him alone at night and the thought of spending the night with Pride and the prinnies was as frightening a thought as meeting Envy again in the form of a giant milk bottle. The blonde was sprawled on the bed as usual, the sheets kicked mostly off of him and his metal hand laying across the bared part of his stomach between his boxers and an old t-shirt, quietly snoring away.

Edward wouldn't be the first to find the homunculus, this time.

Having had every reason to leave the crowd at the gate itself behind, Akatsuki's puppet master had found himself approaching the train station. The gatekeepers hadn't been at all helpful when questioned about leaving the city; with luck, the staff and schedules here would offer a little more information. He wasn't in any hurry, however---as much as he disliked making others wait (or waiting himself), he wasn't certain where to be, or who to ask. It was doubtful that any actions now would really speed his return, and he could afford to be curious.

He'd crossed a curious figure before long, too. Sasori paused, giving the boy on the steps a careful appraisal. He was reminded, to an extent, of his puppets. It had to be the expression; there would be the potential for something more, but even so....

Well. He hadn't been in any great rush. Sasori moved closer, shrugging a little to himself. "Hello?"

The boy's blank gaze turned up, almost like he was expecting someone, but Sasori wasn't exactly the person he did expect. The blank gaze seemed almost to fall; he looked saddened at the appearance of the Akatsuki.

Arms still wrapped around his knees, he simply watched, like he had always done. Obviously, he didn't perceive a threat from the dark-cloaked man. And he'd been asked a question. Everyone- Edward, too- liked it when they had their questions answered. Still, the wording was odd, so all Pride could offer was a soft, "Hello?" in response.

"Are you waiting for someone?" It certainly looked like it... Sasori folded his hands together, wondering just who if the answer was yes. He'd barely spent any time with his journal, so far, but he'd seen quite the variety of people on his way to the station, Paixao's citizens excluded. It seemed that almost anyone might be here, hopefully including his fellow Akatsuki members.

Pride looked away at that, almost like a flinch, and wrapped one arm tighter across his knees. He didn't know if he was waiting. Didn't know if Edward would come back for him. Maybe, though, if he told this person who they had been looking for... sometimes, people knew things.

"Find Alphonse," the homunculus murmured. "Trains to find Alphonse. But... gone."

A name was a start, the statement considered. "Gone...? Is there anyone else you're trying to find?" Who knew? It was always possible he would cross paths with this Alphonse, or someone who knew him. If he did, it would probably be best to have his new acquaintance at hand, to be returned, probably as a few questions were answered. That there was something off, there was no question... However, Sasori had met several disturbed individuals over the course of his life and this did not strike him as having any real similarities.

This time, Pride did bury his head against his knees, deadened eyes disappearing behind his gloved arms. Occasionally, he remembered, far back when he wasn't here- when he was Home- that sometimes the others would leave, and not come back for days or longer. Of course, they never stayed for long, anyway...

But Edward had stayed, and now he'd gone, and Pride did want to find him, but the new question was... did Edward want to be found? He supposed the best way to know was to actually find the other blonde; Pride couldn't stop him from leaving again.
"... Edward," he said, muffled against his knees.

"Alright..." This was half to himself, as Sasori mused over the possibilities. While he did have his own goals---namely, finding the other Akatsuki, if any were present, and finding a way back to base---he had no specifics, and he doubted that offering a little assistance would really impact the time it took to reach those goals. Besides... He was still reminded of one of his puppets, despite the conversation, and so more inclined to sympathy.

It was a course of action, at any rate, and one which would change the situation. "Would you like help finding Alphonse or Edward?"
