What do you get when a talking ferret, a green midget and an amnesic princess sit down to dinner?

Character(s): Daxter, Garnet 'Dagger' til Alexandros, Yoda, anyone else?
Content: Daxter, Garnet and Yoda sit down for dinner and discuss Garnets memory loss.
Setting: Cafe Ersesat
Time: early evenining
Warnings: none

It was sometime later that the odd company Yoda found himself in entered Café Ersesat.

Judging by the fake sky it was just about dusk, or what amounted to it in the city of Paixao. He had been quiet throughout the uneventful journey from Vanaheim gate, meditationg upon Garnets’ memory loss.

Unless he reached into her with the Force there was no way he would be able to help her quickly, although some problems needed more physical methods. But there was nothing here on this strange world to jog her memory unless someone from her “world” had been sucked here as well, but using the journals to discover that could put them all at risk. He would ask their opinions in a moment, after they had all settled down in comfortable chairs around a table in the back of the café.

He struggled to get into his seat, the chairs bottom being several centimeters above his head. He could have just used the Force to hop up into it, but that would be irresponsible. Life put challenges in your’ path for a reason, whether it was memory loss or getting into a chair. After a few moments of struggle, ignoring any offers of help he managed to seat himself. His eyes were just visible over the tables top.

Garnet had followed, questions occasionally asked, but mostly to herself. She didn't want the others to know the extent of her confusion-- if it weren't already apparent. She didn't want to seem too helpless, or too confused, though it was obvious enough that she was both.

How did one just suddenly, without any prompt or warning, forget everything, including who they were? It made no sense, and reeked of some sort of spell. Actually, she couldn't imagine it being anything less. If the boy that had left was just like her... Well, that brought up the question of, "Why her?" and she really couldn't recall a logical reason.

But she knew that she was hungry-- she just couldn't even recall what sort of things she liked to eat. Nor could she even really recall what half the dishes listed were. Would she even know if she was eating good food? These curious musings plagued her while she waited for Yoda to sit.

And she didn't take a seat until he was seated. It seemed like the polite thing to do.
