Relocating [Completed]

Character(s): Misha ([livejournal.com profile] angelicklutz), Danny ([livejournal.com profile] muffinsplz), Valerie ([livejournal.com profile] valerie_dark)
Content: Misha and Danny decide to relocate for their own safety, and run into Valerie
Setting: Vanaheim [F3]
Time: Morning after this
Warnings: None yet.

It had been kind of an awkward morning, upon waking to find that she and Danny were sleeping in the same bed. Danny had spluttered something incomprehensible, but Misha had mostly just been confused by his reaction. After all, hadn't he said it was okay that she stay, especially after what had happened? And she'd been glad to stay, because she didn't feel all alone in a big room.

But through talking, they'd come to the conclusion that Dan might know where they were -- how else could he have gotten into Danny's dreams? And both of them weren't eager to experience something like that ever again. So they'd decided to leave the Acuta Are hotel, maybe even Vanaheim altogether.

Misha had gone back to her room to pack, not that she had many things. Only her pajamas, her uniform that she used to wear to school, and her To-Heaven box.

She was all ready, but she was a little afraid to leave her room now. Because her wings still hurt, she couldn't pull them into hiding, and she definitely didn't want to be walking around with them out. So she sat on the edge of her bed, kicking her legs a bit.

Of course Valerie had not liked being called an idiot for asking questions, but the truth was she should have read the brochures more thoroughly to avoid looking stupid. She had wandered into a soup kitchen and found it vastly different than what she knew them to be. The food was good; the people kept to themselves and there weren’t any embarrassing odors. All in all, she felt assured she could move about without getting into any major problems so long as she kept to herself and didn’t bother anyone. If there was anything her dad wanted her to do, it was to move silently and let people go about their business.

She moved out of the soup kitchen and was plodding along effortlessly when she stopped and felt that burning she’d had before: it was much stronger now, and she felt her face growing flush. Wordlessly, she walked on, feeling the familiar heat getting hotter. She was close…she knew it somehow. Only an idiot would have ignored her intuition at the moment, and she chose to go with it. Unfortunately, that also meant she wasn’t really watching where she was going, and bumped into someone without really meaning to.

“I’m sorry…did I hurt…”
Her voice trailed off. The girl she didn’t recognize: she was a little small, pink haired and in her way looked cute. It was the boy behind her that made her stop. There was no mistaking him: worse for wear and awkward as ever, but she’d know him in a second.

“Danny?!”
