He had heard someone else enter the shop, but hadn't bothered to even glance at them, too absorbed in the strange stuffed animals. There was a set of dogs colored in both blue and pink that were kind of cute, though Vash wouldn't admit that outloud. Someone had put a plushie of a black cat on top of one of them; it reminded him of something, but he couldn't quite remember what. Oh well, it couldn't be important.
At being addressed, Vash looked over to the other man with a small smile. The scruffiness of the guy was almost refreshing, after the way most of the natives of this city were so fancy-looking. "I don't know. I think they brighten up the store a lot." Not that he sort of stopped to think about it, it was kind of disturbing to have kid's toys in a store full of weapons that kids shouldn't be exposed to. Huh. It was a good thing there weren't any in here right now.
