Disposable Fun [Complete]
Character(s): Morrigan & a Lumen
Content: She talks a stroll through the Paixao streets, becomes aware that she's being followed and...
Setting: Joutenheim area, K8
Time: Late Night
Warnings: Lumen biting, scratching, possible blood?
How many men had fallen to her charms now? How many more would succumb to her wiles? As long as she remained there, both of those numbers would only continue to grow. And that was fine with her. It was how she sustained herself, after all.
It was how she survived.
But ensuring her survival was not enough. She wanted more.
Excitement. That's what was missing.
Things were far too cyclical in this city for her liking. Rest during the day, venture out at night and meet new faces. Throw in the occasional devouring of a man’s soul and that was pretty much what Morrigan had done since being taken here. Maybe it was her own fault. A fun new location to frolic in and an abundance of food... It was enough to keep her satisfied.
At first.
By now, the novelty had worn off. She had decided to take things into her own hands. If nothing interesting was to happen on its own, then perhaps she could lend a “helping hand”. There was nothing wrong with that, right?
After dressing herself and leaving the house of her latest "victim", she pondered on what would be a good way to begin this new task.
Although she hadn’t encountered many of them, Morrigan knew that beings from different worlds and dimensions had also been brought here. Getting to know those who were in the same position as her… Hmm, why not? It would give her the opportunity to obtain information on the others while revealing nothing truthful about herself.
Deception had always been one of her favorite games, after all.
With these thoughts in mind, she continued to walk through the streets, but stopped shortly after realizing something.
“It’s been a while since I’ve played a game of cat and mice.” She turned around, a smile on her face. “Won’t you come out already? I know you’re there.”

But that hardly mattered now. It had gotten a few good seconds in, anyway. And now the fist. The fist was hard and angry and it smashed into the lumen’s face with intensity. The lumen was only a cat, of course, and the punch was enough to send it flying. It landed a few feet from the dark woman, stunned and laying on its side. It would take a few moments for it to regain its bearings again, and to ignore the staggering pain in its nose and the few broken teeth. It might have left some behind in the woman’s arm.

She would've liked to have finished it then and there, but it was just not possible for her. Even though it had been temporarily repelled, Morrigan could still feel herself growing more and more exhausted with each passing moment.
For her to be so weakened after just one attack...
This wasn't supposed to happen.
A second strike would not bode well for her. She needed to get as far away from it as quickly as possible and recuperate.
Easier said than done.
Standing up had never been this hard for her. Her body felt heavy. Her movements were slow and sluggish. It was getting harder to see.
When was the last time she had ever retreated?
[OOC: I'm thinking one more bite will do. Okay?]
