New allies, old enemies [active]
Character(s): Saitou and Kenshin
Content: Saitou leaves Aiches and goes to meet Kenshin.
Setting: Paixao Central Station, J6
Time: Late afternoon
Warnings: none yet~
Running away from the hospital was much easier than he had expected. Of course, the staff probably did not expect him to be walking around for at least two more weeks. It was also very convenient for him to have been placed in a room on the second floor. Jumping down from a greater height would have hurt his hips even more. He had sat down below his window for half an hour before walking again to recover from the pain. He is feeling much better after making his way across the city however. Having had to lie on a bed for days was just torture.
Leaning on one ornately decorated pillar of the Paixao Central Station, he exhales the smoke from his mouth languidly. The station is a pretty big place and they did not decide on any particular place or time of meeting. He had simply told the battousai to stay put, and knowing Kenshin, the redhead is probably staying put somewhere. Saitou would not admit it but the reason why he is not walking around looking for Kenshin is because he is tired.
He hasn't tried, but Saitou wonders when he can start really fighting properly again. With his legs being such a pain, he wouldn't be a very dangerous opponent at all. This is very worrying indeed.

Nodding in agreement to Kenshin's suggestion, Saitou briskly walks back to the noodle house. The sky being artificial, he is sure that someone is causing the balls of ice to fall intentionally. He makes a note to himself that he will find whoever it is and find out why.
Just as he is walking to the noodle house however, the falling hail seems to decrease in number before finally stopping as suddenly as it appeared. Eyes still cautious, Saitou quickly looks up to the sky to survey it. The clouds that had formed above them are dissipating so quickly that it is unnerving.
Whoever is controlling the weather must have been in a playful mood, or worse, whoever it is might have been testing out the artificial sky to see what can be done with it. "The sky is artificial," he says more to himself than to Kenshin. He is starting to hate this place very much.

"So... it would seem," Kenshin agreed hesitantly, still sounding a little baffled by it, "Although Sessha can't even begin to understand how it can be, but then there are many things sessha cannot understand about this place."
"Well, either way it seems it has stopped, for now," he noted, as he watched the last of the clouds vanish.
"Shall we?" he asked, glancing back to the doorway, his own stomach starting to have a nagging for something to eat. Noodles seemed very appetizing about now.
