"It's your fault!" [Complete]

Character(s): Linali Li
Content: After registering Raven into Actua Are, Linali checks on Gunzi but finds him gone.
Setting: Beginning in Actua Are [H8], but moving out towards the northern part of the city.
Time: Later evening.
Warnings: Overworrying. :x

Washing her hands, Linali fixed her hair in the mirror of the public restroom. She made a stop at the bathroom to pick out whatever foreign objects caught themselves in her hair or her clothes and also to wash her hands which were ridden with dirt, enough to cause the water to go murky. Wiping her face with a damp tissue, she tossed the paper towel in to the bin then stepped out.

She went on a search for Gunzi. Their room was the most logical place to check even though he wasn't there before she left in the afternoon. A slide of the card-key and the access granted blink of a green light, the lever unlocked and Linali was permitted into her quarters.

But he was gone.

"Ah..maybe he's downstairs." Again, logical. Another elevator ride and she reached the lobby. One run-through, but no sign of the red-hooded blonde. A bad feeling tightened her throat. Linali sought out some hotel personnel and inquired him of her friend's whereabouts. Negative. They didn't even see him walk out.

Snap. That was a fraction of her patience. "How could you miss a person like that?"

"But he wasn't supposed to go out, Miss! It's your fault!"

"Don't tell me that! It is your job to ensure the well-being of your clients! Besides, with the staff barracading the doors, how would..."

The complaint continued; the hotel staff kept their redundance. Linali frowned and left despite their tsks and warning calls.

A swelling anxiety pooled inside her as she ran the streets. She lept to the rooftops, hastily speeding through the air in jumps. She didn't feel her tiredness anymore; that was replaced with concern. Gunzi could be anywhere. The hotel didn't even know when he left; he could've left ten minutes, one hour, or two hours ago. She didn't know how much distance he can cover within that time. There were so many factors to consider, but what worried her the most was the Nobodies. Shiki, the bst fighter of Igura, and Rin, the second best (maybe?), couldn't handle them alone, so how could Gunzi?

Fifteen minutes searching and still no sign of Red Riding Hood.

She was ashamed.

She paused to make a post in her journal and the message board. Hopefully he might respond.

Wrong. The Lumberjack did.. and taunted her. Blamed her for Gunzi's disappearance. Linali frowned bitterly as she accepted the accusation. If she hadn't taken so long or maybe messaged him--

No, she didn't need this now. She shut the journal and took a deep breath. Thinking it through, maybe the knuckle-clawed man left for the bar..... maybe. She calmed down. It was likely. In that case, she would briefly check on Shiki and Rin. She was closer to the manor than the bar anyway.

With refound hope, she took a running start before igniting another rocket ride.
