Go Back to Sleep [Complete]
Character(s): Raven, Linali, possibly Nobodies
Content: She wakes up and is very confused at what's going on.
Setting: Starts in the bottom corner of [F8], then moves on to the area between O Pastor & Cafe Ersetat [H8].
Time: Early Afternoon
Warnings: None as of yet
Great care was taken so that Raven remained hidden until she awoke, which was why she was left in alley set between a building and the dome wall, so that nobody could see or disturb her. By now, her body had entered a trance, and was hovering several inches off the ground. It was how she healed herself when she was no longer conscious. However, the strange and otherworldly nature of her attackers had caused the healing process to take much longer than normal...
When she finally opened her eyes, she sat up. Holding her head, Raven took a look around. The trees and fields were gone, and in their place were the annoyingly familiar buildings. So she back in the domes, back in Paixao. But how..?
Raven's thoughts went back to what had happened. She remembered arriving at the field with the falling orbs, watching Kanda going ahead to check out a building, talking to Beast Boy, and being attacked. Her clothes were a bit torn, but she was still okay. It must've been Kanda. While she could only recall small bits after going unconscious, she definitely remembered him coming to fend off those creatures. If that was the case, then he must've been the one to bring her back.
So... where was he?
She tried to see if she could locate him telepathically. But instead of sensing Kanda, she just barely managed to feel something else. There were more than just one, but even so, Raven couldn’t tell what they were, or if they were hostile. Whatever was going on, it seemed that several new presences had found their way to the city.
Leaving her resting area, Raven went deeper into Paixao, cautiously, however. Though she didn’t know how, or why, she could still feel it. Her powers had been weakened since her awakening, most likely as a result of being attacked by those weird creatures.
More questions raced across her head, about Kanda, what was going on, and her attackers. They would have to wait for now though…

Checking her journal's map, the exorcist was just a block away. A pleased smile spread on her face as she tucked the black box into her pocket. "Raven, I'm almost there. Please hang on...!"

Though she had regained just enough to be able to sense if there was someone, or something coming near her… Which there was, and it was moving pretty fast.
It must've been Linali, since she said that she could "sort of fly". Still, there was no way of making sure unless Raven actually saw who it was. And there was always the possibility of it being someone else who could fly really fast like that. Wanting to stay out of sight until she was able to regain her abilities, Raven stopped moving from alley to alley, and waited for the person to land so that she could see for herself if it was who she was expecting.

Worriedly, she began to call her name. "Raven? Raven!! Where are you? It's me, Linali!"

Although she was risking being discovered by the creatures, it was pretty much was an avoidable gamble when she still couldn’t make psychic contact with anybody, much less fly.
Calling out Linali’s name in return would’ve made things easier, but Raven figured she’d find her before having to resort to… that.
[OOC: Feel free to have Linali find Raven in your next post. :o]

If it was her, Linali activated her Innocence so that they could jet off at instant's notice.

Fortunately for Raven, someone else had seen and addressed her: a girl with long black hair. "Yes, and you must be Linali."
Introductions had to be kept short, for the creatures were starting to head towards the two of them. "Can you take off right now?"
[OOC: Sorry for making you wait for so long.]

"I was hoping you'd ask that!" Taking a running start, Linali dashed towards Raven, scooping her off her feet, and shot to dome ceilings. She tightened her hold around Raven as they momentarily floated in midair. The exorcist looked down, checking what the Nobodies were doing. They lost her.
Smirking, Linali commenced to jump-glide towards the hotel. She spared a glance at Raven, frowning apologetically. "Sorry for making you wait so long! The Nobodies held me back..."

Her thoughts then went back to the name Linali had used for the creatures. “Just now, you called them ‘Nobodies’. Do you know anything else?” She asked. “I haven’t been able to learn much since I returned… And I don’t know where Kanda went either.”

Now right beside the hotel, Linali paused on the edge of a building, pushing of it to propel herself to the top of Actua Are like a spring. Landing, she set Raven down on her feet with a satisfied smile. Spreading her arms to the sky, she stretched away much tension. A yawn threatening to escape, Linali quickly cupped her mouth. Her brain was now tired, but there was still much to do...
Like talking to Raven. She turned to the shorter girl, brushing a pigtail behind her. "You asked about the Nobodies... I'm sorry to say that I don't know anything else aside from that. I just kept hearing the citizens calling them that. At least that means this invasion has happened before, somehow. The people here are pretty sheltered, so their knowing of the Nobodies supports the theory." The Chinese girl frowned, recalling the news about Kanda. Her eyes cast down, she didn't hide her disappointment. "Did....did Kanda leave you? Or did he disappear?"

The creatures had attacked before? Well, in a city as weird as this one, it could've very well been possible. "Yeah, you're right about that." Since Raven couldn't actually go out there and try to learn without being attacked, she figured that staying indoors and using her journal to go through entries the others had made would be good enough.
"I'm not sure about Kanda." She commented. "I was injured while we were outside, and he probably left me hidden away so that I wouldn’t be a burden to him.” As blunt as that was, she didn’t feel bad about it. After all, it sure did seem like something he would do. “I'll try and make psychic contact with him after I re-…” She stopped there. Raven didn’t want to let her know that she couldn’t use her abilities.
“Nevermind.” Turning around, Raven spotted a door that lead into the building. “Are you going inside? Or do you have to do something else?”

Worried and embarassed for not thinking to ask if she was all right or not, Linali hurriedly nudged Raven from behind, down the stairs, and into the elevator. She pushed the button that would take them to the ground floor; there she would register her new guest to a private room and get some food prepared as well! She figured that alimentation would do good for her recovery.
