The More Subtile Things in the World [Complete]

Character(s): Roxas, Dib
Content: Roxas and Dib attempt to observe things from afar but fail, and are brought into the Nobody fiasco.
Setting: Haja o Que Houver [F4]
Time: Around noon
Warnings: None [just a lot of typos >>;]

It had only been several hours ago that Roxas arrived at Paixao, met Demyx, and brought Dib to Haja o Que Houver. Out of the distress caused by various happening, the blonde had been unable to sleep serenely. Instead, he had been lying underneath the sheet of the bed in the hotel room with his hands behind his head for several hours, musing over the fact that Organization XIII probably wanted to kill him... because he took actions that made him seem like a traitor. Nonetheless, Roxas couldn't help but want to be a part of something he didn't want to be a part of two days ago.

Why were things like that? Why couldn't he feel content with what he had? Why did feel the need for more when there was nothing in the world that he really deserved? Nobodies didn't deserve anything. They were just... Nobody.

That moment the former Number XIII thought of a complete new concept: what if he had a heart? It would defy the definition of a Nobody but anything was possibly, wasn't it? After all-- he already defied by definition of a Nobody simply by having no memories he had no real of his other self. Sora...

He half expected the booming activity and lively music to interrupt his thoughts, or maybe even the other boy that he teleported along with him. But there was no booming activity and lively music coming from downstairs. But there were sounds nearby. Maybe it was Dib? Or maybe someone else? Half-reluctantly, the boy slowly dragged himself out of bed and put on his Organization jacket. He found a rectangular device nearby and put that in the pocket of his jacket, then, walked out to see what the source of the sound was.

There were too many Dusks: they were all over the place and no matter how many the Samurai killed, more and more seemed to be coming from somewhere. As if in an attempt to slay more Dusks, several more Samurai appeared but it was still not enough to defeat them: they had too much pride to simply slaughter all of them at once. But orders were on the verge of being disobeyed. Nonetheless, all of the Nobodies under the Thirteenth's continued to attack the countless Dusks. Even though none of the individual Samurai have been killed by a Dusk just yet, as a group, they were outnumbered.

The Dusks slowly seemed to realize the power of their numbers: they reached out for a Samurai to ensnare it successfully. It was the first loss on the latter's side.

A single Dusk managed to go over Roxas's head effectively. Samurais nearby attempted to rush to their master's aid but it as too late: at the very least, Number Thirteen would suffer from a minor injury if he managed to notice it promptly.
