Recovery [Completed]
Character(s): Saix
Content: A rather unorthodox Healing.
Setting: Somewhere in the Muspelheim district.
Time: Sunday night(day 2)
Warnings: Blood
Saix rematerialized in an alley somewhere, hardly aware of where he was. He'd lost a lot of blood already and was more than a little lightheaded. The fact that his body was dying weighed lightly on his foggy mind; he was vaguely aware of the blood seeping into his clothes, ruining his coat further and staining the cobblestones. He didn't even notice when a blue, canid creature padded into the alley curiously a few moments later.
He did notice when the creature nudged the bloody hole in his stomach, curiously. It was one of the Lumens, Saix noted dully; at least it wasn't one of the new inhabitants of this forsaken city. He winced as his torso started to burn a little. The wound was filling up, he knew that much... it was a property of these creatures that be enjoyed. Hopefully he wasn't so empty of blood that he was already gone.
As the creature nudged the wound, Saix became increasingly aware of a burning in his chest that seemed to be getting worse. He groaned a little as it formed into a hard throbbing, a pang of heat that burned and withdrew, again and again. His breathing grew ragged with the pain and eventually he rolled over, swatting at the creature as he propped himself up with one arm. The Lumen made a startled sound and ran, not that Saix noticed.
He'd pressed a hand to his chest, eyes wide and shaking as each pang grew stronger. The bleeding in his stomach had slowed but not stopped; at least now he wouldn't die. All he could concentrate now was the beating in his chest. It was incomplete, unwhole, but it was there, clear as anything. Swallowing nervously, Saix disappeared again -- perhaps they would be more successful in this endeavor than had been previously imagined.
