Someone Just For Me [Solo/Completed]
Character(s): Chii
Content: Chii talking to Freya
Setting: Actua Are (J7)
Time: Saturday early morning
Warnings: None!
The orange glow of the sun is starting to frame the scattered roofs of the surrounding buildings, but it will still be some time before the sun is fully risen. Selphie is still fast asleep behind her but it has been some time since Chii woke up. She was awake when Seifer sneaked out of the hotel, but noticing that he does not want to be followed, she pretended to sleep still. It is part of her programming to always make her master happy, after all, and being found out will not make Seifer happy.
Chii now stares out of the window at the glowing roofs with a sad look on her face. Seifer does not seem to want Chii around but Chii needs to be near Seifer so that she can make him happy. Chii does not know what to do. She places her head on top of her folded hands and continues to gaze out into the slumbering world. She can suddenly feel a presence caressing her cheek and placing its face beside hers. "Chii?" she mutters softly.
Are you lonely? the voice asks but Chii does not know how to answer because she is just not sure. Are you sad because he left you? Chii turns around to face the presence, who turns out to look exactly the same as her, except that while Chii is wearing the hotel's bathrobe, the other girl has a rather elaborate dress on her. "Sad? Chii does not know," she places her hands above where her heart should be, "Should Chii be sad?"
The other girl smiles mysteriously and reaches out to cup Chii's face in her hands. Do you think he will come back for Chii? Do you think he cares about you? Chii looks down, still with a sad look on her face. "Come back? Care?" She bites her lip in uncertainty, "Chii does not think so; Master Seifer is not coming back," The other girl then moves closer to Chii and takes her into a comforting embrace. Chii does not have to be sad, you will find someone else, she moves away to look into Chii's eyes, someone just for Chii.
A dazed expression on her face, Chii inclines her head to the side in question, "Just for Chii?" The other girl nods and gives Chii another smile, more brilliant this time. Yes, someone just for Chii, and she starts to levitate upwards, making Chii reach out for her. "But what must Chii do now?" Chii whispers to the girl who is getting farther and farther away. Do not follow Seifer, follow Sora instead, he might be the someone just for you. Then the other girl fades into nothingness, leaving Chii staring blankly at the ceiling with a confused expression, "Follow Sora?"
