Don't lick that! [COMPLETE]

Character(s): Lirin, the typical gate NPCs
Content: The orange-haired demoness comes to her senses and makes her way into Paixao--on an empty stomach.
Setting: Niflheim
Time: Sunday morning
Warnings: None, except for degenerating quality of prose. xD

After being bitten by a Lumen and smashing head-on into a wall, one would think they were seeing things. Hallucinating a desolate paradise with nice weather and pretty people staring at you below frozen-looking gates and--wait. Gates? The last thing the petite demon remembered was running into a meadow in the night, chasing a...a...

"...WHERE'S THE CHICKEN?"

The strangers all jumped back at her sudden outburst.

"She spoke!" one cried.

"Thank goodness she's alive!" another shrieked in relief.

"Chicken? Are you from the jungle?!" a man exclaimed, incredulous.

"I don't think she means a Lumen chicken, Henry." the next person commented.

Of course, all this was gibberish and filtered through the emptiness that is Lirin's brain. Dizzily, she got to her feet and walked away from the gate, staring upwards in observation. The gate looked like a gigantic cave door of ice, as well as a popsicle. Suddenly, the demon launched herself at the gate.

"...Is she going at it again!?" The people in line parted like the Red Sea once again.

And like a swordfish, Lirin speedily made her way to a large 'stalagmite' and pierced it with her teeth.

Silence. Then a shriek of pain.

The Paixaonese watched blankly. "Poor girl; she just bit stone."

After hysteric struggling, Lirin was not able to remove her jaw from the confounded structure. She began to tear when a well-dressed man in a booth a few feet away from her solicited her name.

All he got was "Uhuhuhuhhhuuuuu....!"

Yet, persistent as them booth people were, he asked for her name again.

"UhuhuIhwantmahbrothauuuuuuuh..."

"I'm sorry, Miss, but I cannot help you if you do not tell me your name," the man said, pushing in that last phrase to get his job over with.

She whined, "Lirin."

Like magic words, the girl was removed from her uncomfortable position, pushed past the hurtful gates, and was given shiny things to boot!

An instant smile as bright as the rising sun.
