Abstract Cobwebs (Renovation Remix) [COMPLETED]
Character(s): Aizen Sousuke, Ichimaru Gin
Content: After fleeing the brief encounter at Morem o Lisboa, Aizen and Gin find harbor in the basement of Matteus Museum of Art where theytell campfire stories and sing songs have a brief recap.
Setting: Matteus Museum of Art (K4)
Time: Friday, Noon
Warnings: Aisnarking and GinGrins
It was just as cold as ever, or rather it was outside. The light snow that had fallen dusted the streets… but this was only a help. That means no tourists at the Museum. No one to bother them. No one to get in the way.
Aizen and Gin had already made their way from Morem o Lisboa the night before only to discover the art museum would be the perfect harbor. There was a lone basement that was unused and simply called out as a ‘stronghold’ for Aizen. He no longer had the safety of Hueco Mundo, so this would have to do.
Of course the museum shelter didn’t come as easy as one would think. During the early morning, the once-captain sadly had to assassinate the already existing manager and use his zanpaktou to hypnotize the rest of the staff to believe that he was the manager. At least it solved their problem. Gin now had a job as a tour guide as well, though Aizen was unsure how much the shinigami knew about art.
But once they had a secure standing, they were free to move forward. Aizen had already set the staff to renovating the basement that morning. Progress was going extremely smooth. The shinigami watched carefully to make sure everything was going according to plan. Perfect. Everything was right. He also decided to cast away his mask once again. Why bother? It was all a test, really, for Thursday. Now that was done and over. What they had to worry about was the future.
What was there to oversee now? The soul-cutter had done its job. Why did Aizen even bother to oversee these odd people of the city? With a swift turn of a heel, Aizen did just what he felt like doing. He left. He roamed the halls inspecting the odd art collection of Paixao. And what were these children doing in the halls? Oh yes, the tours. In order to be inconspicuous, Aizen had to continue with the museum’s schedule, which meant the guided tours led by Gin.
“Hello, Gin,” the new manger greeted. “How is the tour going?”

So, he figured that as much as the questions were annoying, he could kind of forgive them because they were so goddamn cute. Some he found himself attaching to a little easier, even though he stayed with one group for a maximum of about half-an-hour. In this particular group, it was the little blonde-haired girl in the back (her name was Marianne), the one with the long curly hair and wide blue eyes. She didn't say much, but for some reason, whatever was left of his heart went out to her and her timidity. Gin was about to make another comment to Aizen, or rather, his manager, but was interuppted by a tugging of his cuffed sleeve.
"Mr. Gin, our teacher asked me to tell you 'thank you' for her. So---uhmmm... thank you sir." He looked down to see Marianne, smile wide (with her two front teeth missing).
"Er--no' a problem." She curtsied at this and trotted back to the group, curls bobbing.
Suddenly, the day wasn't so bad.
((OOC: HAHAHA XD Gin is such a SOFTIE.))

in the leastbut these tours seemed to prove otherwise. Oddly enough, the children were also very receptive to Gin. The people here seemed to think in a different manner than the norm. Of course this whole place was out of the ordinary. In fact, this city was quite an enigma. One that Aizen would have to learn about.“I hope that was the last tour for awhile,” the new manager said. “I have a few questions that I never got around to asking before now.”
no subject
"Hm? Wha' kinda questions?"

“I hope you remember that portal I was talking about before you left, Gin.” Back in Hueco Mundo, Aizen had sensed a rather strange presence. It wasn’t one like a hollow’s or a shinigami’s so naturally he had to discover its source. Despite the odds, Aizen had also found his way through the portal as Gin had… but, of course, he would never admit that it was all Lady Luck’s doing.
“How has the investigation been going? What have you learned of this place?”
no subject
But what could you expect from someone who loved himself above all?
"O'course I reme'ber th' portal. 'T only landed us in this here place." A teasing smirk curled the ends of his lips up, eyes squinting even more now with the expression. He held his breath, subtley, awaiting the questions.
Upon hearing them, he let out said breath easily, looking none the worse.
"Hm. Th' folks here aren' very givin' when 't comes down ta information. They be dodgin' questions like it' some kinda sport whe'ever I tried askin'."
((OOC: God, Gin is such a HICK. :D *rolls*))

“That didn’t answer my question, Gin.” Aizen answered bluntly. Why beat around the bush? “I was already able to pick up on the unfriendliness of the citizens in the few hours I have been here. What I need to know is what is this place, what is it for, and what are its properties, not excuses.”
It was true that Gin had been in this domed city much longer than Aizen had. And it was frustrating. Right now he was no more help than the citizens of this place. He needed to know more and as soon as possible or he wouldn’t succeed. Last night had worked flawlessly. He was able to find his Vice-Captain and alert any of the shinigami who had also arrived in this unnatural world. In fact, it was better than he had planned. Many more members of the Gotei 13 were here along with others like Ichigo Kurosaki. And those were only the ones who were at Morem o Lisboa. The shinigami took few moments to reflect on what had happened in the hotel. He sure had upset Kenpachi-taichou, hadn’t he? Poor thing. Maybe later Aizen would give him the fight that he desired so much.

"I don' have anymore answers than ya do." He shrugged, bony shoulders coming up with an air of nonchalance. Gin was technically telling the truth, because he really didn't know anymore than Aizen. Even though he had been here longer, he wasn't exactly able to pull up any information besides the name of the place, how unfriendly the people were, and well... that he had a chance at running away with Matsumoto. Though, he may as well give Aizen his assumptions, at the very least. Maintain the quota and all that.
"Though... I have a feelin' tha' some fella is controllin' everythin' in this place. Like watchin' everythin' and all. As fer properties, th' entire city is fake. I was thinkin' it may be some kinda twisted experimen' like tha ones Kurotsuchi used t'do."
((OOC: So hard... to type... in Gin-speak. *flail*))

Of course Gin also had known more than he did (even though he claimed otherwise) but Aizen decided to no longer pull at the subject. Despite his vice-captain’s mannerisms, they were easy to see through after you had been around him so long.
“You’re infatuation is blinding your senses, Gin.”
no subject
Especially not when the man was using Ran as bait.
"Maa, you've foun' my weakness, congra'ulatio', do ya feel any better inside now?"
no subject
"You know what I have said about weakness before, Gin." Still smiling, Aizen turned to look at the silver-haired shinigami. "It leads to the end and to death. You and I both know how cautious we need to be of this even if were are not among the living. Or has your love rid you of this fear?"
no subject
"A'righ', a'righ'. Ya got me pinned like a but'erfly. Maa-- I c'n hide anythin' from ya." He held up his hands, showing mock surrender. This was mostly for show and for him to keep the proverbial status quo. If Aizen felt like he didn't need Ichimaru's help anymore, he would dispose of him.
And he wouldn't even blink when he did.
no subject
"So in the few days you've been gone, you have found so many secrets that you have to hide them from me?"
no subject
How irritating.
no subject
"Well, Gin... I suppose at another time I'll speak with you. I have my own work to take care of, and I'm sure that those tours are waiting for you."
