Another Exit [solo/completed]
Character(s): Ashe
Content: Ashe taking yet another exit from the rescue mission and leaving behind a little 'gift' for each of them.
Setting: Morem O Lisboa (M4)
Time: Saturday noon
Warnings: none.
She never could sleep so much no matter how tired she is. Ashe had gone to sleep the second her head touches the soft pillow, but she soon woke up when the sun has fully risen. She takes advantage of the hotel's facilities; taking the longest bath she could endure and indulging in the delightful scent of expensive soap and shampoo.
After her fingers are all wrinkled form the long time spent in the bathtub, she dressed herself and went down to the restaurant in the hotel lobby for breakfast. The money that she had acquired form Kadaj had not run out and it was much mroe than enough to pay for an all-you-can-eat breakfast she had thoroughly enjoyed. She had not eaten anything for the last 48 hours and so food tasted heavenly.
As she put her fork down though, the guilt of being such a burden to the rescue group loomed over her again. Then coming up with an idea of how to repay them, she quickly stands up and walks over to the receptionist and pays for her breakfast as well as for the rest of the rescue group. She made sure that the coupon to be distributed to each of them will be valid for lunch as well as dinner and pays it all.
She counts the money still in her pouch and finds that it is barely enough for her to live on for three more days, but this is the very least that each of them deserves, so it is alright. She looks up at the receptionist and throws a smile over, "don't forget to tell them that it was a mysterious stranger who paid for their meals."
And with that, she walks out of Morem O Lisboa and onto the streets. She is alone once more, but there are some people she met through the journals who seemed nice enough. Perhaps she should try contacting Seifer or Yuzuriha-san and see if they can meet up.
