Passage [active/OPEN]

Character(s): Open
Content: The stakes are high and the only way to go is up. People have come to this floor looking for a door, but what will they find when they go through?
Setting: Clusterfuck Floor (the highest one so far)
Time: Nighttime
Warnings: Depends on who replies, I suppose. XD
Note: Multi-thread format. Form up whatever groups you'd like! Once the door is found, I'll edit a note in here letting people know what thread to have their characters run to if you all want in on the opening action. You're looking for a giant tower, as jumbled up and mismatchy as everything else in the world. There will be the usual Castle Oblivion door somewhere in there, and you are free to write the tower however you like.

The door opening sub-thread can be found here!
Please don't worry about posting order during this thread. We're trying to push through on into endgame, so if you have an opening for your character to post in/your character has something to say, have them go ahead and say it.

Blue, in the form of her woman illusion, ran up alongside Emizel, breathing hard. Her eyes watched the distant light with something of shock, fear, worry. "What does it mean?" she asked, not particularly expecting an answer from the small boy.

She managed to pull her attention away from it and looked down at him. "We have to get up there! They might need help."

Not that she was looking forward to it, either. The figure that darted ahead was that of the wolf, and she turned to stare at him expectantly.

Wait a minute, she was a wolf? Or was he imagining things. Emizel rubbed an eye just to make sure.

"... Y-yeah," he spoke up a little hesitantly hurried along. Nothing was going to get done if they sat around here.

"This floor is so strange..." Blue mused. She ascended several more stairs, mix-matched and made out of different materials. "Everything's just... pushed together. I wonder what we'll find at the top? I hope everyone is alright." She paused and tilted her head at him. "Have you heard anything about all this? Not about what's going on up there, I know you don't know, but I mean... in general."

Yeah, Blue hasn't kept up to date with much, either.

"A few groups decided to come here and look for the last door," Emizel had to watch where he was about to step, he almost tripped on one an out of place chunk of stairs. Not the safest thing to be trying to run up, clearly. It would be so much nicer if the stairs were at least consistent but of course, everything always had to be the hard way.

"Whoever shot that thing into the sky must be from one of them."

"That makes sense. I tried to look around myself, but I hadn't found anything... I think I mostly just got horribly lost. Those lights in the sky were the best thing to follow." A magic flare of sorts. It still amazed Blue about how accustomed she found herself to all of this.

"As long as it's an ally and not just a trap." Gather all the intruders together and get rid of them in one swoop? Blue wouldn't put it past the Organization, or any villains for that matter.

Maybe she was just being paranoid.

Being paranoid was never a bad thing. Usually.

"We aren't going to know unless we get up there," Emizel did have some of his worries too. Although he felt better knowing that he wasn't alone this time. And he hopefully assumed there was more of them on their side that saw it too.
