Passage [active/OPEN]
Character(s): Open
Content: The stakes are high and the only way to go is up. People have come to this floor looking for a door, but what will they find when they go through?
Setting: Clusterfuck Floor (the highest one so far)
Time: Nighttime
Warnings: Depends on who replies, I suppose. XD
Note: Multi-thread format. Form up whatever groups you'd like! Once the door is found, I'll edit a note in here letting people know what thread to have their characters run to if you all want in on the opening action. You're looking for a giant tower, as jumbled up and mismatchy as everything else in the world. There will be the usual Castle Oblivion door somewhere in there, and you are free to write the tower however you like.
The door opening sub-thread can be found here!
Please don't worry about posting order during this thread. We're trying to push through on into endgame, so if you have an opening for your character to post in/your character has something to say, have them go ahead and say it.

Finally, unable to bear it anymore, Mao had announced to Yorda that they were joining the search and stormed up to the latest floor... and promptly found himself lost beyond all recognition.
"What the hell kind of place is this?!" he growled out in frustration.

That kid... how did he survive? He should have been crushed under the rubble a long time ago. Thankfully, no one had seemed to realized that she had been stealing his identity, but she still had to find a way to deal with him.
Thankfully... she was at full power now. And she had a large amount of grief seeds to spare.

It wasn't until one particularly hodge-podge patchwork of an area's weirdness startled him from his worked-up mutterings that he finally noticed a power signature nearby.
"Who's there?! Don't bother to hide. I know you're there!" There was something vaguely familiar about that power too. And the memory of it only managed to piss Mao off even more.

And she was a magical girl.
But still... he did notice her, so might as well grant his demands. A figure calmly made it's way out of the shadows, but instead of a magical girl, the figure was one of a small white haired nerdy demon.
"Mao" stared at Mao, a bored expression on "his" face. This better be good, battling all these witches lately just reminded her of how she was in need of an actual challenge.

He gave his double a long look and though he wore his usual frown, there was a glimmer of interest in his eyes. "You... You're that girl, aren't you?" Mao crossed his arms. "I heard you were pretending to be me, but I didn't think the copy would be that good. I'm almost impressed."
no subject
That being said, she wasn't making any actual moves this time, she simply standing halfway into the shadows, mimicking his movements. The entire area was filled with her traps after all... she didn't even need to fight.

"Says the person who chose to look like me. Heh... You got lucky last time, but you've just made a big mistake coming out here. I've already got a bone to pick with you."
no subject
"I don't have to listen to brats who should already be dead!" She snapped at him. How dare he survive their last encounter? Just him being alive was provocation enough, even without him invading her territory.
"So why don't you just save us both some time and die already?"
Even with such a threat, she still made no moves.
no subject
Still... she wasn't attacking. And Mao wasn't sure if it was because he was right in assuming there was some kind of trap around here or if she was just trying to piss him off by doing what he was doing. Maybe he'd see if he could push her a little more. What would piss her off?
"Unless you have another house up your sleeves, I don't think I will. Then again, that didn't work for you before, either. What kind of magical girl are you, anyway? Some kind of half-assed hero? A villain? Or just some washed up wannabe?"
no subject
"What's in there?"
