Gotta return home at some point [Active]
Character(s): Jenny and Ten
Content: Jenny finally gets around to running into her other dad.
Setting: Starting at the TARDIS, and possibly going who knows where.
Time: Week 45, Mid-day
Warnings: Dorkiness, father-daughter time, and no doubt some rambling. In other words, the usual!
Somehow, Jenny had managed to keep herself completely occupied since she had returned, trying to deal with everything from a dangerous new arrival to the citizens obvious hatred for those of them that were considered outsiders. Even with their attitude towards her though, she still found herself trying to help any way she could, even attempting to take advantage of how much she looked like them, which had become much easier since she'd acquired some of their clothes. The infiltration only seemed to work on some, but not all, and eventually, Jenny found herself not quite giving up, but in need of a much better plan. There was only so much she seemed to be able to do on her own.
As she thought everything through further, she made her way to St. Destino, planning to at the very least make a stop by the TARDIS and gather some of the things she had left there. Perhaps grab the hour of sleep she needed to recoup her energy again. At least she knew the TARDIS was safe to sleep in.
Without a second thought, she pulled out the key her father had given her, unlocked the door and stepped in.

Well, they were getting married, weren't they? It was a strange and awkward situation. He wasn't exactly sure still how he really felt about it. That's undoubtedly why he was halfway under the console now, wires all over the place. That's why he'd been scarce lately--not that anyone particularly needed him. He was "the other" Doctor now. Being in the same place as another of himself for this long was just... too long.
Using the sonic screwdriver to fasten a wire in place, he pushed himself out from under the console, pulling himself back to his feet.
"Right! NOW! Let's see if that re-calibration of the scanners gets us anything diff--" The Doctor's words ended sharply there, as he looked up and saw Jenny standing there in the doorway.
Even though Jenny had been here before, seeing her here again now was completely different this time, even if this meeting was in no way impossible here. The last time he'd seen her in his mind was no longer here in Paixao; it was in his arms, dying from a gunshot. To him now he'd lost her, yet now here she was right in front of him again.
"Jenny..."

"Hello dad! I'm back again!" She called to him, walking over without really thinking much of his reaction, assuming that it was just surprise that she was back in the first place. She had been gone for quite a bit after all, or that's what she'd heard from Donna.
"Is there something wrong with the TARDIS? Or are you still working on those scanners?" She asked, taking a look at all the wires under the console with her usual curiosity before looking back up at him.
"You look as if you're seeing ghost. Everything alright?" She couldn't put her finger on what it was, but now that she looked at him again, it was as if there was more to that look he was giving her then just surprise that she had returned to Paixao again.

It took a moment before he finally managed to speak. "Y-yes! Yes. Everything's fine. Just, well, can't say I was expecting to see you here again," he said, a little awkwardly, a warm and emotional smile forming on his face.
Sorry, such crazy life. Plus the alert got lost somewhere in my email >_>
"So, did you miss me?"
