The Overlord's Castle [Active]

Character(s): Laharl and open!
Content: Come bug Laharl or do something else in the castle.
Setting: The Netherworld floor
Time: Whenever.
Warnings: DEMONS. :|b
Note: Can totally be a multi-threaded post for any who want to go up floors to Laharl's castle. And I'm willing to try NPCing some of the castle vassals even. :o (Zommie, Manty, etc.)

He hadn't expected to end up back here again quite this soon, but Laharl didn't completely mind it. It just still felt no less strange than the last time he'd been back here. Though it did feel like home, it wasn't really home. At least all the vassals that lurked there seemed as ignorant as ever of the situation, and he was happy to leave it that way. They probably wouldn't believe him even if he did tell them the truth.

At least now the whole human issue was solved. That would have been a huge problem if he'd had to return here like that. He was glad to be whole again, so to speak; a relief even.

Wandering to the throne room, Laharl hesitated a moment before slowly sinking onto the throne; his throne. Settling his arms onto the armrests, he sank back into the oversized chair. How stupid that something he'd been doing every day without thought, now felt so good... special even. If only it was the real thing.

Krichevskoy frowned. "Nothing yet. Much of it seems to be broken or buried." The latter wasn't much of a problem, but the former was entirely too common.

Krichevskoy couldn't disagree. That man had certainly done a job of destroying the city, hadn't he? It was lucky that so few had been hurt.

Perhaps seeking an end to that particular train of thought, Krichevskoy glanced over his shoulder, peering around the room. "It is rather empty today," he noted, a hint of surprise in his voice.

"I would not be surprised," he replied, voice flat. Why did his vassals have to give him such a terrible name?
beautifulrondo: (D4 - smug)

Krichevskoy paused and blinked in confusion? "Why do I look like...?" He repeated the question, his brow furrowing as he tried to figure out what Laharl was getting at.

"Ah." He grinned and chuckled. "As you were not born when I last looked like this, it is only understandable. I look as I did in my youth."
beautifulrondo: (uh... what?)

"Vyers! Vyers! It is not that difficult a pseudonym to remember!"
beautifulrondo: (I am not pouting)

"It is hardly pathetic if it works," he shot back, stubbornly crossing his arms.

"Hmph! You are free to think whatever you wish on the matter." Laharl was probably too inexperienced now to know its true genius anyway.
beautifulrondo: (eh...)

"In any case," Krichevskoy began, more than a little annoyance still tinging his words. It was quick to disappear, as he continued, however, thoughts from before he entered the floor coming to the forefront of his mind once more. "Er, would it be suspicious if I were to take residence in my room once again?"

Frankly, he wasn't sure why he was asking Laharl this.

"W, Well... We managed to get around that before." Mostly because his vassals hadn't particularly cared, but that was likely because he had been thought of as no more than an ordinary mid-boss before.
beautifulrondo: (*cough* well...)

"Perhaps..." He still didn't like the idea. Krichevskoy could easily tell his vassals off if they got out of line, but he would rather it not get to that point.
