Character(s): Idris/Sexy | Wolf
Content: Bride &Maid Made of Honor doing wedding things
Setting: Doctor's place at the Iriela Apartments
Time: Afternoon/Evening?
Warnings: TBA | Likely none.
A dress was certainly something she would be in need of and as she was going to be needing to discuss much of the wedding planning decisions with her husband-to-be, Idris found herself being more than happy to simply gander about at clothing stores, or magazines, for a gown to wear upon her wedding day. Blue of course. Everything had to be blue, it seemed.
It was interesting to be getting close to someone through working on wedding planning. But the man seemed to be a kind person and she had to give him credit, he was nice to aid her and he was doing so without a fuss. She was fond of him for that and when it came to people that she was fond of; they were few and far between. In fact, as it were, the only other person that she was fond of in most any way was the man she was marrying.
Sexy sat with her foot tapping on the floor, fingers drumming on her tabletop. Her eyes were fixated onto the clock near her door while she waited for Wolf to arrive at her door.

Yes, it’s decided. Idris’ happiness should be the best and this wedding should go perfectly for her!
Soon enough Wolf arrived where Idris lived, and cleared his throat before knocking the door. Trying to let himself look presentable. He wasn’t too scruffy today, was he? Wolf looked away for a moment to brush himself off while he waited.

“Hello!” her voice was loud in the moment, although inviting. She stepped back from the door, abandoning it for him to take care of should he come inside. Unfortunately, Idris is not the most hospitable of people, being unused to being a person herself. Raising her hands, she motions toward the refrigerator halfheartedly, “Should you want something to eat, or drink, there are things in there. The Doctor typically keeps it stocked, I’m not really certain where he goes to fetch such things but it’s plentiful at the moment.”
“Do you like biscuits?” She turned on her heel to look at the man, narrowing her eyes slightly, tilting her head in thought as though contemplating to herself whether she could recall if she did, or didn’t. “I recall them tasting decently, although nothing so grand as pudding.” She smiled. Oh goodness, pardon her crazy, Wolf.
“Would you like some pudding? I think I have some, somewhere.
Maybe.”
She shook her head. “No, that’s not what you’re here for. Eating has nothing to do with gowns. Where do I locate gowns, Wolf?”
Down to business, as it were.

Holding out a hand, Wolf spoke dramatically, “Our beautiful bride to be, must have a dress! Yes! THAT is what we are here for~! And we will have a most fun day out while we go look for one! Our first stop~ New Hope!”
no subject
Wedding planning seemed to occupy most of her time.
“New Hope,” she couldn’t help but to laugh. “What a perfectly fitting name, don’t you think? Right!” With a nod, Sexy motioned toward the door for him to lead the way, as she didn't know it. “Shall we search for hope within New Hope, then?”

“Quaint!” she remarked before focusing her attention onto the mounds and racks of clothing. She had to admit, this place certainly seemed the right area to look for something to wear, but to a wedding? Well, they would see. Honestly, they just had to look for a blue dress, not particularly a wedding gown. So it shouldn’t be all that difficult, right?
Right!?
“Where should we start? Do they have a gown location?”
no subject
Pulling out a light blue one with decorative flowers on it, it was long and had a built in flare, “Like this one! It’s long, pretty, got some nice little flowers on it. Not exactly your fairy tale look but if it’s you it’s you.”
no subject
“Hm, what are those?” Leaning to look at the tuft, she raises her brows at the flowers. “Pretty shade, are those sewn on? Perhaps I can have them removed.”
Arching a brow, she gives Wolf a look over and looks to the clothing in the shop. “You’ll need a blue suit as well, you know, dear man.”
no subject
Wolf looked around, “Oh pfft, well that shouldn’t be to hard to find.” As he offered Idris to hold the dress as looked for his own suit, “What shade of blue would you prefer on the men though?”
no subject
“They’re nice, but I don’t think they’re for me. Perhaps something else, something more… ” glancing around to see what she wants to use to make her point, Sexy just looks down to her own dress and pinching the fabric between her fingers, lifts it some to show him. Despite it being torn and a bit tattered, her dress is still somewhat pretty. “—like this, with ruffle-y things on it, yes? Frills? Is that what they’re called? Frills, yes. I think frills are just as lovely as buttons.”
Buttons being knobs and switches that one might find on a console, not that Wolf would realize that.
“Hm.” Shifting her footing, Idris’ lips tug into a smile and her hands clap together, letting go of the tuft of her dress to do so. “Perhaps a slightly darker blue, more navy, like my outer walls as a police box. That would do.”
no subject
Giving a look back at the clothes, Wolf tried his best to see if he can find what the bride-to-be prefers. He glanced back at Idris as tilted his head, “Oh yes a dark blue, hm…” Wolf scratched the side of neck in thought, “Can’t say I know what a police box looks like though.”
lmfao, that icon.
That was perhaps the worst phrasing known to mankind.
“Well,” she shrugged gently, moving to look over some more dresses. She would get to the suits sooner or later. “No need to fret, I know what color it is of course. I’ve been the same color for centuries now.”
She paused and glanced over herself, clearing her throat, she shrugged her shoulders gently. “Ah well, before being put into this flesh body, at least.”
no subject
Glancing back at the dresses with Idris, he browsed with her in curiosity, as he looked among the outfits. Then Wolf tilted his head again, “I can imagine it’d be difficult to adjust… Idris, would you mind me asking you a question?”
no subject
“Well of course, sweet man, you can ask whatever you’d like to ask. And I shall do my best to answer.” She nods.

The question threw her off. Lowering her gaze, she thought about it and couldn’t rightly come up with a proper response. It was different. There was much to get used to with a flesh body, eating, sleeping — both of which she’d never had use for beforehand. There were other things to get used to with having lost her protective shell and inner workings; she used to know everything, literally. She possessed the ability to see the whole of time: all the lines that scattered throughout, every which possible outcome. She always knew what was going to happen: being human, she didn’t.
“It is… confusing. There are things I can no longer do and there are things I am grateful to not have to deal with anymore. And, of course, there are things I have to get used to having to do with this flesh body.” Shifting her position, she glanced to the man. “I am getting used to the change, yes, but comfortable with it?”
She paused and frowned. The body of a human being could only withhold the gargantuan form of a TARDIS for so long before it would succumb to its own destruction. Sexy was surprised, thus far, to know that the broken body of Idris’ was managing to hold together and hadn’t burnt up just yet — although she had to wonder if that was something to do with the city itself. Perhaps it wouldn’t allow her to die?
“No, I am not comfortable with this. But,” and a smile touched her lips, soft and warm, most unlike her otherwise crazed self. “In this form I can speak with him, with words. We can see one another and I can share time with him, together, just he and I without the constant clatter of other peoples’ feets within my walls. I can be with him and see him smile, and laugh.
That, then, makes this discomfort worth it. The Doctor deserves smiles. He deserves laughter and joy. I will give it to him, if that is all that I may do in this fleshling body, then my life will have been a good one.”
At least, if nothing else, it was honest.
no subject
“Although…” Wolf leaned in, “Do not hesitate to ask for help, if you’re feeling at your worse. Uncomfortable anyway, I will gladly try my best to help as much as I can,” the he gave a gentle smile, “Besides, it’s the job for the man that’s the Made of Honor, right?”
no subject
She was not typically well rounded with social events, but for some reason, she felt as though this kind of thing was meant to happen in that moment.
“Thank you, Wolf. You are a very, very kind man.”
no subject
Putting a hand back down Wolf held Idris’ hands, to take her to next aisle of dresses, “Now let’s go look for your wonderful gown, gotta prepare for your best day!”
no subject
Ah, that’s right. Back to the dresses.
Moving with his tugging, she headed along, looking over gowns as they wandered the aisles.
“Something poofy, and frilly, and blue. I can imagine there should be something here, somewhere, to that effect.” Tugging a dress, she looked it over and set it back. “And then we can look for a suit for you, my dear man.”
no subject
Then giving a little huff, Wolf grabbed one of the long poofy bellshapped blue dress, with classic laced sleeves. It was embroided rather sweetly with lace, along with a nice ruffled bustle in the back. “How about this one, it looks rather similar to yours I think,” Wolf said showing Idris the dress.
no subject
“Oh, yes— I do believe that is the one.” Reaching a hand out to grasp the tuft of the dress, she lifted it and looked it over some. Apparently there was something distinctly interesting about what was on the underside of the gown; maybe she was just making sure that the fabric that would be against her skin wouldn’t be something terrible to have rubbing against her all the evening. Letting go of the gown, she beamed to the man she’d chosen to be her Maid—Made of Honor.
“Yes, yes. This is perfect, just perfect!” she clapped her hands together and nodded once more. “Now you, you must find something for you in the way of trousers and such, yes? Let’s see.”
With that, she moved toward the section geared towards men and began sifting through the racks of clothing, looking for the perfect color of blue pants for him.
After a moment she asked: “What’s your size? I gather these things have to fit right…”
no subject
Snapping a finger, Wolf nodded, “Oh yes! We should go look for that!” He said as he followed her, carefully carrying the dress as they went to go look for his own suit. “Awwwooo, let’s see…” Looking down at his own waist, he observed himself, turning around to look at his tail, then scratched his chin, hoping he hadn’t been purging on bacon a little bit too much, “Well last time I was tailor I was at 36 inch waist but grrf… I think it is the same, at least hopefully it is…”
no subject
“Thirty-six, you say?” Nodding, the machine turned woman moved to search through a rack that had the sizes more readily on display. She was aiming for a certain specific color of blue and fretted that she might not find it. Specifics were usually made to be ordered, not simply lying around in shops, after all. Luck, as it were, seemed to be on her side because grasping the color she wanted, she realized the size matched what he gave her!
“Now, that’s lucky, I think. Or planned, but! I choose to go with luck, because whom would know what I want other than myself and I certainly don’t recall coming into this store to plant pants here to find.”
With that, she offered the suit to Wolf and smiled warmly to him. “What do you think, dear? Isn’t it just the most beautiful color of blue?”
no subject
Wolf smiled as he took the pants so he can place them against his legs in observation. He looked up and gave a sort of half pose for the bride-to-be, “Awwwwo~ I think it looks great, ah-Almost forgot, the ties! Did you want those to be light blue?”
no subject
“Yes, light blue should do, I think. It would play off of the darker colors nicely, wouldn’t it?”
Not that she really knew all that much about fashion, but that much seemed obvious, at least.

“Eat?” Oh not that again, it was so awkward to have to eat. She moved her hands to her stomach, though, as if expecting that it should suddenly grow vocal chords and be able to tell her via words if she was actually hungry or not. Instead, she was greeted with nothingness and giving a soft shrug to the man, just smiled.
“We may have a luncheon of sorts then, yes. I suppose I can go for that, but you might need to show me to an establishment that gives people food.” After a moment she added: “and tell me what it is that I may consume there. Food and their tastes continue to elude me for the most part, it seems.”
no subject
“Grrrf~ Oh we can go to one of the cafes, they’re certain to have some good tea there too,” Wolf noted with a little silly smile. He really was trying to make sure she’d enjoy herself there too, hoping she’d take an interest at least to the idea of drinking tea.
no subject
“…you’re rather fond of food, aren’t you, Made of Honor?”

What was that look?
What was this response to it?
She raised her brows, mostly at herself, for seemingly being unable to resist telling him that it was more than fine for him to be that way and she would never be bothered by it. Clearing her throat to stop herself from being so awkward in response to his gaze, she looked elsewhere.
“Oh, I don’t mind, you silly pup.” She waved her hand in dismissal. “Lead me to an eatery and I will partake in feasting upon… well, whatever it is you should like from there.
…although if they have pudding, that would be nice.”

Idris raised her brows as he spoke of the Doctor, but she shook her head. “No, there will be no need for that. The man has closets full of clothing within my walls stored in the other version of myself that he has here, I’m certain that he can locate something for himself.
And if not, then it will be up to him to find his clothing. I should think that he can handle that part of this wedding thing, don’t you think?”

With that, she produced some of the strange munny the world here offered as form of payment and taking the clothes, nodded to Wolf and made her way toward the door to head outside once more. Smiling to him, she gave him a nod.
“You will have to show me the way to the restaurant that you’d like to go to. I’m not overly familiar with them.”

“You make yourself sound like the werewolves of earth folk tales, is that what you mean to say, Wolf?”
no subject
Wolf spoke again as he gave a sincere smile, “We are a lot alike, difference is really that I was born like this, he… Wasn’t, he got it from being bitten by another werewolf, at least I think that’s how it works for them.”
no subject
Sexy had never properly met a werewolf but something had always stood out. They were always being bitten, she had to shake her head though and look to him; “I’ve never truly understood that, either. Always bitten — how was the first one created? They couldn’t have been bitten otherwise they wouldn’t have been the first. That makes little sense, doesn’t it?”
no subject
no subject
“Yes, I do suppose it must be something of the sort such as that, an infection of some kind is perhaps one of the only methods to truly explain it.” Turning her gaze, she offers him a smile. “You seem an interesting man to have been born as such, I am fortunate to have met someone like yourself. I’ve never met a ‘mixed breed’ such as yourself before, after all.”
Adding in after a moment: “Well, personally anyway.”
no subject
no subject
As if that wasn’t obvious enough considering he’s not exactly roaming around on all fours and such.
“Yes that does make sense as you’re body isn’t entirely covered of fur, you’re missing a snout and you aren’t waltzing about upon all four limbs. I suppose I knew that bit already then.”
After a moment she narrowed her eyes and glanced to him, “—are all your kind as friendly with humans? The other halflings, I mean?”
no subject
Wolf gave a chuckle at that, “Thankfully you haven’t seen me on the full moon, I become a bit more intense.” Then when she asked that question he paused a bit, giving a thought than sighed, “Well, no unfortunately, most of us aren’t. Unless one is brought up by humans in secret, it’s not often a wolf is considered a “good guy” so to speak. See back home we’re… Hunted, we aren’t trusted, we’ve had a bad history with the humans.”
Thinking about this made his mood drop a bit, he looked to the ground remembering almost all the terrible encounters he has with humans back home. Wolf lifted his head a bit, “B-But I’m not like them, I mean, I don’t want to be against humans. I wanna be a good wolf, I mean, I’ve met many nice people. I know not all of them want to kill me so... Awwooo…”
no subject
Hunted. That made her frown.
“You are no longer hunted here, yes? Perhaps it would be best not to think of it.”
Giving a light shrug she followed it up with a nod. “You appear to be a kind natured wolf; I see no reason for anyone to want to harm you. Perhaps you can seek some sort of parlay here should that become necessary.”
