Exhale [Active]
Character(s): Megara, Jecht, Auron
Content: Meg stumbles out from jail and into the arms of a HERO
Setting: Along the walls making up the domes over the city
Time: Morning
Warnings: None
The last time she saw the sky, Meg was being torn away from Jecht in the middle of a blizzard for attempting to seek warmer shelter. She'd been thrown in a dark cell without a window and only torch light to beat back shadows. After the first few days, her voice went out from all the yelling and angry threats she would spit at the guards and the world in general. Eventually, she curled up in the corner and fumed silently, keeping herself sane by plotting all kinds of vengeance...
..and thinking of Jecht. He was just stupid enough to try to rescue her, even though she didn't even have any idea where she was. Maybe he'd been thrown into a cell too? It didn't seem likely, the way he was fighting the guards during her arrest, but who could say?
When they finally escorted her out into the world again, she was stunned to see all the snow had melted. Stunned and relieved. But for some reason, she was terribly tired and weakened. One hand against the wall of the dome, she slowly picked her way around the city. Even if she was exhausted, she had to find a way to rescue Jecht.
